I kinda saw this coming the entire week though, with the useless retards managing the team all repeating endlessly that they were 100% certain of a bunch sprint finish. They didn't even come up with a plan B, even if Edvald was in the form of his life.

That is nonsensical. If she concents beforehand it isn't, that would be true. What you are saying is that if someone goes out on the street, sees some random person and kills him, it isn't muder because he was on the way jump from the cliff aourd the corner to commint suicide.

Unfortunately for me, I was driving my son to guitar lessons during the final 2 laps of the race today.
I'm a big fan of Peter Sagan and would have really enjoyed watching it in real time as the finale unfolded. I said before the race that I would like it if he won today and he did.

It's not just cycling, you get lots of pretty women around the grid/podium in F1, Same in sports like speedway.
In American sports you get female cheerleaders who are mainly there to entertain the males in the crowd.

Maybe I'm just cynical, but I always have felt like the majority of professional athletes trend towards being self-absorbed jerks, so despite the fact that I'm generally pretty sensitive when people are sexist a**holes, I was pretty stoked to see Sagan win, on a sporting and theatrical narrative level. Sagan's effervescence seems part and parcel with his other self-absorbed qualities, so I can't celebrate without some reservation, and seeing him 'finally' win the big one was certainly not touching in the way that, say, Sean Kelly's voice breaking while commentating on Dan Martin's LBL win was. But man - the sport - and, sport - is full of a**holes who win. I've had a pretty unbroken string in my time following cycling, of which 'Armstrong ---> Cavendish' is a succinct summary. Sagan is a dude bro who seems to have come up in a dude bro culture, and while he seems interested in doing stuff that gets fans' attention (self-serving but fun), he also seems interested in doing things that his stupid dude bro friends will think is funny (self-serving and not fun). Lib's objections seem to be hugely amplified by the amount of attention that is paid to Sagan, and that makes sense. Still, I would rather hear him stumble through self-importantly prepared remarks about the refugee crisis than hear Dave Brailsford talk about anything ever. I can see how the parts of his character that I think are fun and balance out the crappy parts a bit can just be more annoying to someone that just thinks of them as a product of his unforgivable self-absorption.
