Astana team for Algarve:

Aru, Rosa, Tiralongo, Cataldo, LL Sanchez, Lopez, Kangert and Kozhatayev

It's like 80% of their TDF squad. Just add Fuglsang and probably switch Kozhatayev (and maybe Lopez) for Boom/Westra (unless they switch to Giro because of depart from the Netherlands).

Giro: Nibali, Scarponi, Fuglsang, Westra, Capecchi, Grivko, Malacarne, Vanotti and Guardini for sprints.
Tour: Aru, Tiralongo, Rosa, Cataldo, Kangert, LL Sanchez, Boom, Lutsenko, Zeits.

I my guess is that López will get his GT debut in the Vuelta.

Hmm.. Fuglsang will ride the Giro instead of the Tour? Interesting.

Doubt Fuglsang will ride Giro.
Nibali will have Scarponi and Kangert (two GTs for him are quite possible) as main domestiques. Plus Capecchi.

Martinelli recently said in an interview that Guardini won't ride the Giro and Kangert seems to be one of Nibali's trusted domestiques.

Alright. I was also more of a guess from my side. But Kangert is Kiryienka-like. The guy is a machine. Both Aru and Nibali might want him as a part of their team.

I think that Nibali gets Kangert and Aru gets Fuglsang, he seems to only care about the Tour.
I'd like to see Superman Lopez at the Giro, they let Aru ride the Giro as a neopro and Lopez was really impressive in the Vuelta a Burgos and in the TdS.

Sorry if I missed it but has Valverde's schedule been published yet? I know parts of it but not the full schedule.

Edvald Boasson Hagen:

Tour of Qatar
Tour of Oman or Volta ao Algarve
Tirreno Adriatico
Milano San Remo
Cobbled Classics
Tour de France

Brian Holm wanted Eddy to ride Liege Bastonge Liege but it's not certain for now.

Why would he have any say in what Eddy rides? Brian is still with Etixx.

Liege? No way. Cummings and Kudus with Teklehaimanot and Haas as support will be most likely.

How do you think their final programs are going to look like?

Kwiatkowski - he's schedule is some pages back.
Dan Martin - something in February, TA or PN, Catalunya, Ardennes

That looks reasonable, PJ.

I'm still wondering if Majka will step up in the one-week races this year or just work for Contador. He is never that in good in them, but should be able to win at least one of them.

Concerning Purito, i think it will be

Dubai
Oman
Tirreno
Catalunya

Amstel
Fleche
Liege

Dauphiné
Tour
Rio

Vuelta (not sure Purito said himself, depends how tired he is after Tour + Rio, if he's too tired, it will be Canadian Classics, which would be cool too)
Milano-Turin
Lombardia
Abu Dhabi Tour (maybe)

He will not ride Clasica San Sebastian.

So Katusha are likely to send Spilak to Algarve and Paris Nice if Purito goes to Oman and T-A?

Van Garderen should be confirmed for Tour of Oman. He has been close at winning that race (both 2nd in 2014 and 2015). I think in 2016, he will finally win it.

I heard he will co-lead TA with Kreuziger. Anyway, this really doesn't matter. He can't beat top guys like Froome, Contador, Quintana, Nibali, Porte(in one week races, for me, he is up there with the very best). I heard that Froome and Conris-Nice. I think that at least one of Nibali, Quintana and Porte will ride Tirreno.

Take a look at the first page of the thread I made. Paris-Nice is the second most important goal for Porte in the season. Just behind the Tour. :p So I'm pretty sure he will face Van Garderen.

But when it comes to one-week race, Nibali isn't that big of a threat and Quintana is certainly beatable. The only ones you don't want to face are Froome and Contador (if in top shape). But they both can be dealt with if they are not at their max level.

I'd rather face Nibali or Quintana than Porte or Spilak in a one-week race. Period said that he would be back at his old level for the Giro. He is also one of these riders with constant podiums in smaller WT races. In one-week race, Kwiatkowski is also very strong. And is able to win a mountainous stage race. His recent 2nd places in Nice, Vasco and Algarve confirm that.

As it is for now:

PN: Froome+Thomas, Porte, Spilak, Aru, Bardet, Contador, Quintana?, Rui Costa, Pinot?
TA: Landa+Kwiatkowski, Tejay, Purito, Nibali, Pozzo+Peraud, Kreuziger+Majka?, Valverde.

Still some missing info on the Yates bro and Chaves' split of calendar. And the program of the Trek riders. Dumoulin, I'd also like to know some more about.

Unlikely. Giro as a leader, then Tour and Olympics....
One week races will serve only as a training and preparation (and so will the Tour in my opinion, no way he chooses to peak for Tour over Olympics)
I see it just as another developmental season with only Giro and Olympics as targets. In my mind 2017 and 2018 will show his true potential
