Some (if not all) of Froome's schedule seem to be confirmed: Herald Sun, Paris-Nice, Tour of Romandie, Dauphine, Tour De France, Olympics.

I know there a lot of good riders on Sky who want to have their own chances, but it looks a little too minimalistic to me. No Andalucía or Algarve? Too close to the Herald Sun Tour? Want to spend some quality time with the baby?

Wouldn't be surprised if Catalunya and maybe Fleche and Liege were added.

I could see a light racing schedule as long it doesnt hamper his Tour-preparation in order to be fresher in August for Rio.

I doubt it this year. At least not the Ardennes since they have Kwiatkowski as their sole leader. And Froome tends to be bad in that period of time and there is a good risk at getting hurt on the narrow roads of Wallonia. Better use the time on some altitude training.

Their Ardennes team will be something like: Kwiatkowski, Golas, Nordhaug, Henao, Roche, Kennaugh, Kiryienka, David Lopez.

In Catalunya, I think they will allow one of their super-doms to lead. Maybe Poels, König, Henao or Intxausti.

I've always wondered how strong Poels really is in a stage race. Based on what we saw in Abu Dhabi Tour, I wouldn't be surprised if he could make it to the podium in Catalunya.

Yes.

Herald Sun, Paris-Nice, Romandie, Dauphine and then the Tour and Rio is very good racing schedule. A light one, but a great on if he don't want to risk his health and strength before the Tour/Rio-combo.

No Rosa for Nibali. Him and Aru are going to do the same races including the Tour.

Good, so Aru will get his boys (Rosa, Tiralongo, Cataldo and Zeits) for the Tour, I hope that Superman Lopez will ride the Giro as a domestique for Nibali, it would be a great learning experience for him and Scarponi, Kangert and Lopez would be great climbing domestiques for Nibali.

Pretty heavy schedule for such a young guy, I think he will also do Colombian Nationals and he is hoping for Rio. Think it will be around 80 racing days? Guess I would leave out one of Catalunya/Pais Vasco/Romandia. But at least all races with mountains :)

It's okay. He is doing only Vuelta between GT's. Also, I think he will lead in some races(Langkawi, Austria, maybe Burgos) and that's good for his development. I really like his schedule. I hope he will snatch some wins.

Gallopin:
Marseillaise
Bessèges
Algarve
Paris-Nice
Milano-Sanremo
Basque Country
Ardennes
Dauphine
Tour De France
Olympics

and maybe the after that Vuelta, if not then the Canadian classics. A heavy program if he is doing the Tour-Vuelta combo.

Why would he do Vuelta? He never rides it, and the Canadian classics suits him really well.

The chance he rides La Vuelta is close to zero for me.

Warren Barguil is planning to ride both Tour and Vuelta next year. Also hoping to get selected for the Rio.
He will start his season in Andalucia.

Kennaugh is likely to support Landa in the Giro and Kwiatkowski in the Ardennes. He could also be a nice "rabbit" in the Ardennes classics, attacking from far out to make the race harder for the rest. Even in Amstel Gold Race.

So far, he is the only Sky rider confirmed for Tour Down Under. Wonder how that line-up will look like?

Kennaugh at the Giro? That's a bit of a surprise.
I personally thought that the Sky Giro team would look like this: Landa, Intxausti, Nieve, Puccio, Viviani, Knees (he confirmed in an interview that he'll be one of the guys to protect Landa on the flat), Sergio and Sebastian Henao (I don't think that they'll be on the Tour team) and another strong guy for the flat stages.
Maybe having both Henaos on the Giro team is just wishful thinking. Kennaugh is a good rider, but I would have loved to see Kiry riding all 3 Giro ITTs in the rainbow jersey.

Yeah, 100% agree. My guess would have been something like that as well.

Maybe the Henaos are saved for the Vuelta. Then the team would look like this: Landa, Intxausti, Nieve, Kennaugh, Kiryienka, Knees, Puccio, Viviani + David Lopez or Xavier Zandio (who want to ride his final GT this year). But it would make more sense if all of the Spaniards went for the Giro and Kennaugh for the Tour.

I think David Lopez gets to ride the Ardennes + the Vuelta, so their final Giro team is going to look like this:
Landa, Intxausti, Nieve, Kennaugh, Kiryienka, Knees, Puccio, Viviani, Zandio

Tour team:
Froome, Thomas, Poels, König, Kwiatkowski, Golas, Roche, Stannard, Rowe.

Froome is skipping the Vuelta in 2016 (http://velonews.competitor.com/2015/12/news/cioni-froome-believed-he-was-going-to-win-vuelta_390074) so their team for the Spanish GT could look like this.

Vuelta: Landa, Nieve, Intxausti, Boswell, Henao, Henao, Kiryienka, Lopez, Van Poppel.

Boredom induced guesswork:

TDU: Kwaitkowski, Kennaugh, Golas, Knees, Stannard, Puccio, Swift, DVP
Ardennes: Kwaitkowski, Kennaugh, Nordhaug, Kiryienka, Sergio, Golas, Lopez, Deignan

Giro: Landa, Intxausti, Nieve, Kennaugh, Kiryienka, Sergio, Knees, Puccio, Viviani
Tour: Froome, Thomas, Landa, Roche, Konig, Poels, Kwaitkowski, Stannard, Rowe
Vuelta: Intxausti, Nieve, Roche, Kiryienka, Boswell, Zandio, Fenn, Swift, DVP

Tour: Froome, Thomas, Landa, Roche, Konig, Poels, Kwaitkowski, Stannard, Rowe
Vuelta: Intxausti, Nieve, Roche, Kiryienka, Boswell, Sergio, Fenn, Swift, DVP

That's a likely scenario as well.. very close to mine. But I only think Sergio will ride one GT. Maybe little brother for Giro and Sergio for the Vuelta? He is horrible in a steady pacing train. Better as a co-leader in the Vuelta. And doesn't Roche always ride the Ardennes? Brailsford said that Roche had a hilly classics win in him. Goals is Kwai's bodyguard so I'm pretty sure they will ride the Ardennes together.

Zandio has expressed that he wished to ride one last GT before retirement, so maybe him instead of Fenn for the Vuelta? Whatever Landa rides the Tour is still a question mark but you might be right.

This is another possibility:
TDU: Dunno.
Ardennes: Kwaitkowski, Golas, Kennaugh, Nordhaug, Kiryienka, Sergio, Lopez, Roche
Giro: Landa, Intxausti, Nieve, Kennaugh, Sebastian, Kiryienka, Knees, Puccio, Viviani
Tour: Froome, Thomas, Landa, Roche, Konig, Poels, Kwaitkowski, Stannard, Rowe
Vuelta: Sergio, Intxausti, Nieve, Roche, Kiryienka, Boswell, Zandio, Swift, DVP

Deignan to be co-leader in a sh*tload of small stage races.
