Leiphemer took 16 pro wins after his 35th birthday. Roglic with a bit of a Mickey mouse schedule can do this easily. Think how many wins there are in San Juan, tour de under, tour guangzi, tour of Britain ( if they put a proper climb) , Tour de Suisse, ruta del sol

A guy who takes 15 pro wins at 33 can easily take 11-12 from 35th birthday til retirement
But Roglic will not race mickey mouse races

I assume most of you discussing are way past your prime, caught up with the age aspect of it so much. Well at least it's not wheel sucking, crashes a lot and *** like that any more. It's about elderly people and their ability to kick some ass. Good news here being it happens, it happens a lot.

So stop being lazy and get on the bike, just because you are old doesn't mean you are not able to ride a bike any more, please stop finding excuses.

I do ride my bike, just not in races.
I'm just a regular cyclist*!

*Well, not right now. Now I'm sitting on my ass, trying to recover from a cold. And, no! I do not mean a donkey.

No. Just that trying to get 100 pro wins when you're 36, and don't even have a single win of any kind might be a bit complicated.

It will with that attitude. So stop being lazy and get on the bike, just because you are old have a cold doesn't mean you are not able to ride a bike any more, please stop finding excuses and start winning.

There are people who start when they're 18, and never manage to. But you want me to do it?
I don't wanna win races. I don't wanna race! I hate it when it gets too crowded on the bike lane, sitting in a peloton would be horrible...

You could always just ride five meters behind the peloton like Gigante.

Only late compared to the recent trend. Roglic started on the road in 2012 aged 23. By comparison Cadel Evans was 24 when he switched to the road from MTB. Evans declined almost immediately after his Tour win when he was aged 34. Roglic is now 34. Valverde is an obvious outlier.
Roglic started in 2013, literally. He didn't ride bike before that in youth categories. He started in WT races in 2016. That's a pretty late starter if you ask me.

Also huge difference between switching from one cycling category to another (like Evans), and switching from hurling yourself off a hill-side* to cycling (like Roglic).

*It's simplifying the concept of skijumping a little bit...

For some reason, I read that as hurting yourself off a hill-side.

Pogacar is on a furious pace: 23 wins this year and 86 wins in total. He should get there next year.
At the start of the season he was 17 wins behind Rogla (who himself is a profilic winner) and now he's barely behind! Sick.

@Netserk What was the algorithm to calculate est. changes? Or was it taken from some source? I suppose last 3 seasons tally and age were important parameters.
