Demare reaching 100 victories will only depend on how many fourth tier french races he enters. He is completely washed.

This year he has been unable to compete in any sprint with decent competition except for a couple of days.

Very impressive too. If we take off this 2 slovenians, there is any active rider (please, don't count Cav) with more than 40 WT wins?
I don’t think so. To kind of compare everyone that’s been talked about.
Ewan 30/63
Viviani 28/89
WVA 28/49
Evenepoel 26/59
Philipsen 25/51
MVDP 22/50
Vingegaard 22/36
Demare 19/97
Merlier 19/50
EBH 18/81
Kristoff 16/95
Groenewegen 15/74
Jakobsen 14/46

Of those only Evenepoel, and Vingegaard have the best chance. Philipsen and WVA could depending on how everything goes.

Froome and Sam Bennett have more than those on this list (35 and 34 respectively). Matthews slots in in fourth (if you discount Cav and the Slovenians) at 29, Alaphilippe has 27 (counting his two Worlds wins (which would also increase the two Slovenians' tally by one)), then the next not-yet-mentioned would be Quintana, Boasson Hagen and Gaviria at 23.

But none of them bar maybe Sam Bennett, who I forgot about, have been mentioned to reach 100 wins. I listed everyone that I’ve remembered be talked about in this thread.
