As Hans Landa would say: "You are sheltering egalitarian norms, are you not?"They went for Anders Johannessen (0 pro wins) in a break of 15 instead of chasing it down for a finish that seemed to be designed by Kristoff himself. I can scarcely believe my eyes, I never expected the Norwegians to be handing out charity rides.
How many wins did Kristoff have at the time the poll was made.In fairness to @tobydawq , who made the poll, he was the first one to say that Kristoff probably should have been included. And did so the same day.

In that case I would say he has batted well above expectations in the last 3 years and benefited from some shrewd calendar management.

Kristoff is on 84 by the way, and he just got a 3-year contract. With Uno-X he will probably ride a lot of smaller races. Maybe I should have included him.
But will any of these male superstars get there before Lorena Wiebes who is currently on 96 , doubtful I
think.
I'll get my coat.

She needs to be if she wants to get close to the 255 road wins Vos currently has.Pfft! Wiebes is on her way to winning 200.
Nowadays, I think riders are trying more to reach 100 wins in their careers. And there is also more longevity in cycling due to training and nutrition.I didn't realize how rare it is for someone to reach 100 wins. In the last 10 years there has only been 2 riders achieving this, Peter Sagan and Alejandro Valverde. And now we can have 2 or even 3 riders doing it this year alone, In the past 45 years there has only been 14 riders doing it.
I will count WC too but I think it is a little more. 70 WT winsHow many of Pogacar's 91 wins are WT? Quick count tells me something like 65?
He is on his wag to reach 100 WF wins.
Counted 69. 70 if you count WCRR (not sure if you could consider it WT)How many of Pogacar's 91 wins are WT? Quick count tells me something like 65?

Nys and Magnier can be added to the list if they have a good year.
Compensating for all the harsh remarks he has received.Extra-ordinary generosity to Sam Bennett there
His 8 victories last year were all WT, and he delivered the best climbing performance of his career on the road to his Vuelta win. He can pick up a handful of WT victories before summer.I think Roglic can still make it, but not sure it will be with a lot of WT wins. At least not if he keeps riding like this
Like I said, if he keeps riding like this he won't. This spring he wouldn't win anything at this level. I do have to say I forgot he was the only bigger name doing the Giro. There he can get a 2-3 wins. He won't win anything in Dauphine with Pogi and Vingo there, same goes for TDF.His 8 victories last year were all WT, and he delivered the best climbing performance of his career on the road to his Vuelta win. It was the same tale last year after Paris-Nice. And then he won the Itzulia ITT (and Dauphiné as his next race).Like I said, if he keeps riding like this he won't. Vingegaard and Evenepoel crashed out so not sure what you expected in Dauphine. He won the ITT indeed, there is no ITT in Catalunya not to mention after today I doubt he would beat Vingegaard again. It was the same tale last year after Paris-Nice. And then he won the Itzulia ITT (and Dauphiné as his next race).
He was definitely worse here than he was in Paris-Nice last year, though. Both the MTF and the TT should have been right up his alley and he was nowhere near, whereas in Paris-Nice he was at least in the mix on three out of four GC days. Catalunya and the Tour are not going to be particularly lucrative given the competition, so if that + the Giro is all he's racing until summer then he would likely need a farmy stage race in the autumn to be able to match last year's 8 wins. And that's assuming he hasn't actually gone down a level over the winter, because if he has he definitely isn't getting to 100 by the end of his career without meaningful farming. It was the same tale last year after Paris-Nice. And then he won the Itzulia ITT (and Dauphiné as his next race).
Dauphiné was won due to Vingegaard's absence. This year he will not win more than 5 racesIt was the same tale last year after Paris-Nice. And then he won the Itzulia ITT (and Dauphiné as his next race).
