That’s one of the most braindead things I’ve seen someone so in a bike race. Would touching the breaks and slotting on the back have killed him?

That should just be a ban

He will probably be taken out of the race, either on his own accord or by the team/commissaire. He probably feels like ... already. The guilt and shame will take some time to get over.

Most likely a suspension and a fine as well.

I don't buy it that people who ride a bike for a a living at breackneck speeds (potentially thousands of hours a year) cannot find a more elegant solution there.

That Bahrain rider should be banned from racing as Groenewaegen was. I thinkthat was way worse then what dylan did. What an absolut ...choose for expletive...just ride away from the peleton or crash into the grass
How was that worse than what Groenewaegen did? It was stupid and could of been avoided but he hit the grass and lost control, not the same as what happened in that sprint in Poland.

bit of an overeaction from a lot of people on here...the bahrain rider was at fault yes but that big mud track that caused him to be off balance and forced him into the peloton....it was just v unlucky that it was there.
The were all wrong for being outside of the official road delimiters. They were kinda riding on some cobbles which were maybe part of a sidewalk or idk exactly. But the Bahrain rider just had to get to the front, would have made his race...
