Has anyone tried these? I remember doing a bit of reading about them after Sastre won last year and noticed this year they have some fancy cranks to go with the Q rings.

Basically they are supposed to take the flat spots out of TDC and BDC and even power out.

I would be interested in hearing any real world experiences with them.

i have used them for three years and the best way to explain their benefits is improving your pedaling form, especially if you don't use your hamstrings when pedaling. the dead or flat spot goes away because the smaller size of the chainring makes it easier when pulling with your hamstrings so when you push with your quads.
