As for that quote, give it a rest. Been beaten to death already. It's like when Boonen said before the Tour 2006 that he was the fastest and smartest sprinter, but ended up failing big time in the sprints(did wear the yellow jersey for a few days though). i always said his body unfortunately is not made for giro.maybe he finally can go to a team and have a shot at the vuelta.
