.HC .Pro races deserve threads!

Startlist at PCS
Probably the only time ever that the sprint field looks stronger than the GC field.

Stage 3 has an interesting route even if the hardest climbs are the 2nd and 3rd ones and they're both easier than the side of the 3rd one they use in the descent. Nevertheless it's good to see they go through the rarely visited Sierra del Segura.

The final kilometer has an average gradient of 9.8% but that's only half the story: we have 570 meters at 11.4% partially on hormigón, then a cobbled wall of 450 meters through the castle gates before a relatively easy final 150 metersto the finish line. There's a brief section where the cobbles are interrupted by hormigón, as you can see below. It's a shame that this stage clashes with the Montalcino stage at the Giro...

A rare opportunity for Sebastian Henao to ride for himself and with the support of the team. He was excellent in Algarve and if MAL is slightly off his game then Henao can take advantage.

I would have thought Eddie Dunbar would be the team leader for Ineos although it will probably be decided on the road.

He could be but, as you say, the road will probably decide. If Henao has his legs from Algarve then I suspect it will be him, but yes, it's not certain.

MAL wasn´t exactly on his game at Mallorca Challenge. Carretero is in better form right now.

And once again we have a race where they're just done at an unreasonable early time.
They're thinking in those of us with no second screen to watch two races at the same time. Then, the queen stage on Friday is not exactly clashing with the most interesting Giro stage.

Yes... but what about those of us who have jobs, and need to be places?!
