Good signing for all sides involved, I think.
Hopefully, Samu will get into the form and get some chances for himself.
It would be a shame not to watch him on the road anymore.

Good signing - he can set the pace for Cadel on climbs :)

Good shout, now they're both over the hill Samu will be ideal for pacing Evans in the 3rd group.

bmc will pretty happy with this signing as support for cadel in giro if needed and someone to race the vuelta.

Evans is down to race the giro and vuelta, I can only assume as leader.

I'd like to see Samu riding ardennes, tour, vuelta. Exactly what his role is would depend on other riders in the team. Either superdom or co leader for all of them.

Back up for Gilbert in the Ardennes I'm guessing. Samu will probably get leadership at some of the week long races too most likely, probably 1 or 2 out of Catalunya, Pais Vasco and Romandie.

I don't think he is riding the Vuelta again. He'll choose an alternate program in the lead up to the Worlds

He's said it'll depend on how things are shaping up in August.

EDIT: or are we talking about Samu?

If Evans set to do Il Giro, while Gilbert wants a last shot at the Ardeness - Why can't Samu dedicate himself to give BMC a decent Tour & then rest for the World's????

BMC is going to use TJV as the #1 for the Tour.

Good luck with that.

I'd rather have Hushov & Samu hunting stages with at great chance to succeed at it than TJV failing to make top 10

Actually, those two guys are both 36 and their results over the last seasons are becoming worse. At least Tejay could be expected to improve.

What would be the alternative? No jersey and not racing at all in 2014?

Personally I'm just glad to see him in a jersey and team for 2014.

Agree, hmm...I wonder how many signatures it would take on a petition for BMC to give him a custom edition Orange team kit?

:D
