Good news for Samuel, and a smart signing by BMC. Perhaps he will be their number 2 option at the Tour behind Van Garderen, plus likely to lead the team at the Vuelta if he wants to.

Back up for Gilbert in the Ardennes I'm guessing. Samu will probably get leadership at some of the week long races too most likely, probably 1 or 2 out of Catalunya, Pais Vasco and Romandie.karlboss said:Evans is down to race the giro and vuelta, I can only assume as leader.
I'd like to see Samu riding ardennes, tour, vuelta. Exactly what his role is would depend on other riders in the team. Either superdom or co leader for all of them.

I'd rather have Hushov & Samu hunting stages with at great chance to succeed at it than TJV failing to make top 10
