Today it was Bertie and Cuddles who where King Kong and the Sclecklets who were the bananas

So did your hear Andy whine about today's route and about how ppl dont wanna see a race being decided on a decent (ye Nibali and the Falcon would agree ), and that riders shouldnt take risks (ye he doesnt even take riske uphill). That was just stupid. I can unterstand that he was disappointed but its nok like it was only the decent, he also cracked (not the spanish version) on the ascent.

So we should always just praise top 10 riders and never be critical of what they do and delivier? What a boring forum this would be.

He's got 6-7 years left. He'll grow up (I think) and win a Tour outright.

Contador will be racing 6 years from now so it's not looking good for Schleckond.

I'm sorry, but you just confirmed exactly what I said.

Your stance is that these guys are pros, and good pros, therefore they can do no wrong, or certainly nothing so bad as to allow mere mortals to pass comment other than in awe.

Well I'm afraid that's bull****. It is precisely because they are pros, paid because we watch them, that we are entitled to point out when they make foolish errors. And being very physically talented does not prevent them making jaw dropping tactical errors. The Schleck family is either 'simple' or emotionally confused, and it is making the talented brother perform a long long way below his physical capabilities.

Andy complains about the stage finishing with a descent, and how riders shouldnt take such risks. His DS comes out and overrules him saying that descents are a part of the sport.

Now Andy is a great and talented rider for sure, but often his focus is just all over the place. He should not complain about this and that but just focus on what he can do instead. Think that would improve his performance.
