Umm froome19 also mentioned the giro mountain tt from 2011, to claim that gadret also sucks at mountain tts. so me bringing up the 2010 mountain tt to point out that he can put in a very good mountain tt was perfectly valid.
As either of you boneheads would have realised had you read his comment.

As for henao tting like gadret it was a joke:D

your always talking about how dutch people apparently insult and troll another nonstop so i thought id give you some of your own medicine.:D

as for pr though he really does have no chance. i love the guy and want to see him podium the giro but he has about as much chance of winning a Sunday in hell as Cav does of winning on the tourmalet.

Though it will be amusing to watch you argue that he has a chance.

He may not have good TT results, but he's so far been on Colombian teams which have to share TT bikes.

Some proper kit, a bit of wind tunnel time and a dash of Julich coaching should produce sizable improvements.

Bartoli did it with his 65kgs and he said he regretted not to have ridden it before.

Also, Duque who is around Henao's weight became the first Colombian to finish Paris-Roubaix last year. In any case, I think Henao will have to wait a few years until he even gets a chance to ride it, unless he shows a spectacular aptitude for the cobbles in smaller races.

bartoli is one of the classiest rider of the last 30 years

henao has still to prove he can do well at the european level in hilly races.
i am sure he will because he is a great talent.

then, the cobbles are another world.
nice to see that he understand the history of cycling , he has ambitions,he knows the value of monuments.
nice to see that he has different attitude than andy schleck
but being a serious contender for P-R , that is completely different.

sorry ryo, but the hitch +1

his dream is serious as are all his goals in cycling. winning roubaix he has a small chance for sure. flanders he could win just like a rebellin, di luca and or boogerd could've won and bartoli did win it

here

Still, if he wasn't South American, and especially if he was Anglo-Saxon, you'd be calling yourself an idiot for suggesting he could win even Flanders, considering he has absolutely no cobbles pedigree.

if he was angol-saxon you will suggest he could win every race , cobbles, hilly, GTs.

you should recognize that he is one of the best prospect in cycling today, indipendently from the hype of ryo .
sky did.
you should recognize that for a colombian guy is much more difficult to shine in europe, indipendently from the talent he has got, than for an anglosaxon, a belgian or an italian.
i did, i am not colombian by the way

if he was anglo saxon he would've said he could win all the races based on his track background and that he is in a team that specialises on cobbles and equipment that other teams would not have and oh yes he would try to say every possible instance how he loves his team and teammates and whatever blabla

Hey, I don't have a problem with what he said, I have a problem with what you said.

and this is what I sayd. perfectly normal

That is indeed a reasonable reaction (maybe a bit too hopeful still, Flanders will be near impossible too). Too bad that you can't come to any reasonable conclusions regarding the dreams and ambitions of riders from anywhere else than South-America. Surely you've noticed your own double standards?

Imagine Tom Danielson saying he dreams about winning Roubaix.

that's apples and oranges obviously. in usa roubaix is relatively well known race. in colombia nobody knows it. no riders have any ambitions for them. so yes it's special he has that dream and he is a supertalent. hors category no doubt. unlike danielson.

it's like cancellara would say I want to win the tour. I would love that and him setting that as a goal because he is a hors category talent and wants to try soemthing completely new

Ryo Hazuki said:
I said he has little chance to win roubaix but he has chance to win flanders. learn to read

And i never said **** about flanders i said he has no chance to win PR to which you replied that this is such a ridiculous statement that it could only be made by someone who knows nothing about henao. So yes you have been hyping him for PR too and don't pretend otherwise now that the excitement of last night is gone and you realise the reality of henaos chances of winning PR -0.

That's apples and oranges too. Cancellara has won flanders and roubaix and msr and an Olympic gold medal etc etc.

Henao meanwhile is still to most people outside this forum, a domestique they will try out for cav.

I daresay he isn't quite yet in the position to decide he should try something different with his career like Cancellara might.
