So we found out that Sky doesn't do BP testing for Colombians at home.
It doesn't mean that UCI or WADA didn't do them.
Colombian Cycling doesn't even test their own races, so we know they didn't.
What else do we know from that? nothing. We get more questions:
What about other foreign riders @Sky. Do they test them when they go back home? What about British riders...do they test them when they go back home? This doesn't really mean too much to me. I'm sure everyone gets tested before races, gets tested before & during training camps, tested throughout the season.

Sky don't ever do BP testing. These were not Sky tests.

Higher up than PR

She was media relations for a while, but yes she keeps moving on up.

Speacially FROOME- which returns every year to KENYA & SOUTH AFRICA for some ALTITUDE TRAINING .........

but hey, The Europeans must blame it on those "uncivilized South Americans" well known for "poisoning their bodies, souls & minds" with their "drugs"...

now you see why I keep insisting on SKY making up the story? Sergio is the "scapegoat" for a serious flaw on their "training programme" & he will be "expelled" in the coming weeks/months- so they can blame it on those "foreigners"....

It's not about Colombians being "uncivilized South Americans", it's about Colombia being hard and expensive for UCI testers to reach and get samples from. The same has been discussed to death in regards to the Canary Islands, and to Kenya too. Also, the concern is not exclusive to Colombian riders - Castroviejo is scheduled to cross the pond with Quintana after the Volta.

what does a pr officer know? only what sky tells him.

So you are suggesting that sky have told their own pr officer false information indicating that their athletes are tested LESS than they actually are? I think your tinfoil hat might be too tight.

Not gonna admit you were wrong?

Then you are imo trying to obfuscate the thread

So will Castro do a top 10 in the Giro this year?

You don't work in PR because that is part of the job in controversy management. The list of examples is endless.

No Armstrong went wrong because he was a gigantic a$$hole who made too many enemies and believed he was too big to fall.

As for his PR most saw through that by the end of 2005!

Yes true, being a ****** was one of lances biggest problems. But my point was, unlikely that sky would put out knowingly false info which made there position look worse than it is regarding testing and being clean.

While I'd find it surprising, I wouldn't rule it out. There's probably better candidates in Movistar, though - whatever fuel they're using, it's been up there with Sky's at least since last year.

I don't see why Colombia would be more expensive or logistically harder than the United States or Canada. There is a WADA-accredited lab in Bogota that would presumably handle logistics and testing, and submit results to the UCI.

You'd be a lot closer to a lab in Colombia than in some parts of North America, where the only WADA labs are in Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, Montreal, and Mexico City. Well, there is a lab in Havana, but I doubt any UCI OOC samples taken from WT guys at home for Christmas in the US Southeast would ever be sent there.

Why would a ZTP, "transparent" team diseminate false information through a PR employee? Surely, Fran isn't "Baghdad Bob"?

Without a doubt teams are catching up. Anyway a good rider, Castro, but not GT/GC material. Well, perhaps until this year.

Sky seems unable to respond in the Giro this year. Or maybe they will send Kennaugh.

A PR agent always represents his/her client's best interests- it's never about the truth at all ;)

So far she has only said close to nothing since the day the story got leaked by LGDS.....

So in 2012, the Bogota lab wasn't accredited to take Bio Passport samples, not all the labs are, or have that facility.

So Bogota only got its accreditation to handle ABP samples in 2013. Hence why no prior testing.

In short, no ABP samples have been collected by the Colombian Lab until this winter. Full stop.
