Today's the third stage between Wanze and Arenberg Porte Du Hainaut. The same of 2010 won by Thor Hushovd. 213 kilometres on the Nord Deparment which include cobbles and four big sections over the last thirty kilometres which will make big differences.

It's the moment of the Peter Sagan, Taylor Phinney, Lars Boom, Sep Van Marcke or Geraint Thomas. Some of them will help their leaders for save the day but others are going to have a free role.
The stage will be a nightmare for the pure climbers and an opportunity for versatile riders like Van Garderen, Kelderman, Slagter or Dennis to put time on them.

Welcome to the 3rd stage of the 2016 Tour de France. 213 kms between Wanze and Arenberg Porte Du Hainaut. The riders must face up a tough stage with some cobble sections of the North Classic Paris Roubaix in the final part of the stage. So today's time of the classic riders.
The race have begun very fast with an average of 48kmsh. in the first part of the stage. There are 7 riders in the breakway: Klaas Lodewyck (BMC) Yoann Offredo (FDJ) Damien Gaudin (Europcar) Niki Terpstra (OPQS) Bob Jungels (Radioshack) and Matti Breschel (TSB) with 5' and 92 kms to go. Jungels said this morning that he wanted to be in the break of the day and he has accomplished it. The luxembourger winner of Paris Roubaix is a wheel to follow in this kind of terrains.

In the peloton Orica Green Edge is pacing compact.
Ahh. We have noticed this morning that yesterday Mark Cavendish hit John Degenkolb in reiterated ocassions while the german was leaving the team bus for go to the hotel. The organization dont have taken any decission at this regard, which is incredible in our opinion.

The breakway is already in the second cobble section, d'Hollain of 1200 metres. Niki Terpstra is constantly relaying and is the most dedicated in the effort. Klaas Lodewyck is at the tail of the group and seems to be so exhausted.
In the pack now we can feel the typical nerves after the key moments. The positions are going to be very important for the cobble zones.

Race situation: Three men breakway, a couple of minutes after them the BMC group with Phinney, Van Garderen, Cannondale and Blanco with Boom and Kelderman. Then the yellow jersey group composed by Orica, with Langeveld, Durbridge & Dennis, Thomas & Dombrowski (SKY) Two Garmin with Talansky and Astana with Huffmann, Aru and Nibali.
Pinot and the colombians Quintana and Chaves are not on this pack.

The breakway is now at the Sars et Rosiéres section, of 2400 metres. 18 Kms left for them. They have 2'10" of advantage with the BMC group.
The Van Garderen group is ¡¡¡30"!! ahead of the yellow jersey pack, where continues pacing Langeveld with Geraint Thomas. Orica, Garmin and Sky must work together to reduce the distance.
