Ok guys. This thread is only apt for crazy people who needs release their minds because they can't wait for the big races of the year.:D

Hello people. Good afternoon from Cervere, province of Cuneo at the west of Italy. We are in the 14th stage of the Giro D'Italia with final in Jafferau (7 kms whith an average percent of the 9%) This will be the second time of the history which the Giro will climb this top. Eddy Merckx got the victory in this mythic pass in the 1972 edition. Before Jafferau the riders will face up the Sestriere ascent of 40 kilometres. So for sure we'll enjoy a exciting day of cycling.

Here is the General Classification before the stage:

1) WIGGINS BRADLEY. 48h:50':20"
2) NIBALI VINCENZO. +01:55"
3) KELDERMAN WILCO +02:40"
4) GESINK ROBERT. +02:55"
5) HESJEDAL RYDER. +03:30"

Let's go with the live. The pack is now climbing the first pass of the day, there are five guys in the breakway in the final part of Sestriere. José Serpa (Lampre) Leonardo Duque (Coldeportes) Mauro Santambrogio (Vini F.) Kristjan Koren (Cannondale) and Stefano Pirazzi (Bardiani Csf) are 5' ahead of the bunch, where Danny Pate is putting a comfortable pace for the leader. Stefano Pirazzi comes first in the mountain pass, he's the virtual KoM. The pack is now reaching the summit and the differences have decreased , 4:30". A minutes of advertising and we'll be back:D Don't leave us, the best are still for come.

Hi again guys, let's go with the race that is still alive. There are only two kilometres left for the begin of Jafferau. The breakway have only 3' and the bunch is literally flying in the foot of the last climb of the day. Astana is forcing a very high pace and some riders cant follow it... here is Andrea Guardini, two stages winner, with Mark Cavendish, Luke Durbridge, and WTF, Juanjo Cobo:D the Vuelta a España 2011 champion is on the back group. He hasnt found goood legs yet in two weeks of race... Gasparotto is off and now is Zeits at the head of the group in the first kilometer of the final climb.
¡ATTENTION! ¡¡Stefano Pirazzi is attacking on the front!! at his wheel are Santambrogio and Serpa ¡Koren and Duque are losing contact! WOW, Pirazzi is attacking one more time, this guy is so crazy ¡there are still 7 kms left! Only the Farnese Vini climber can follow him. At the back Zeits continues pushing... and what is this? JOSÉ RUJANO ATTACKS: the Venezuelan condor is doing a move like in 2011 Etna. He's far in the GC due to the TT kilometres. Wait... Rujano is not alone ¡¡GIANLUCA BRAMBILLA and DARWIN ATAPUMA are decided to follow the Vacansoleil leader!! The best rider in the GC is Brambilla, which is 6 minutes back from the maglia rosa.
So this is the race situation: Pirazzi and Santambrogio relay at the front, then at 1'30" a chasing group with Rujano, Brambilla and Attackpuma:D Finally the pack, which is at 2' and where only survive around 25-30 guys. Now is Fabio Aru putting the pace, Vincenzo Nibali has only two guys with him, Fabio and Janez Brajkovic. The maglia rosa Bradley Wiggins seems very comfortable and is accompanied by Kiriyenka, Porte, Cataldo and Dombrowski. Here are too Robert Gesink, Samuel Sánchez and Ryder Hesjedal.
The bunch pass the 5 kilometres left line ¡WHAT THE **** IS THIS! ¡¡¡VINCENZO NIBALI IL SQUALO LEAVES THE FAVOURITES GROUP WITH THE SUPPORT OF ARU WHICH IS LITERALLY DIE!!!:eek:

Riccardo Ricco, freshly signed by Garmin after he was cleared by CAS, looks smooth in the wheel of Bradley Wiggins. Everyone is expecting the attack from Cobra di Formigine today, the people's hope in the terrible battle with the Sky robots.

And here it is the Sky train:D:p Kiriyenka, Dombrowski and Porte will try to put Nibali in a good distance for their leader. But the sicilian is not alone, Domenico Pozzovivo, Johan Chaves and Samuel Sánchez go with him. They have caught the poursuivants group and also see Pirazzi and Santambrogio in the front. The victory is probably in Nibali's group which is pushing with his pound. Basso and Scarponi get dropped of the maglia rosa pack ¡¡Also Hesjedal is suffering!!:D
¡¡NIBALI ARE CRUSHING THE CHASING GROUP!! Guys like Brambilla, Atapuma and Pozzovivo get dropped and only resists Samuel, Rujano and Chaves. They have already caught Pirazzi and Santambrogio and are now THE FRONT GROUP OF THE RACE.
Only 4 kms left and the gap between the front group and the maglia rosa one are of "POP" ¡¡¡30 seconds!!! NIBALI IS OPENING A GOOD GAP. And Wiggins only have one domestique now, the young american Joseph Dombrowski which is doing an amazing ascent. With Brad stay Gesink, Pellizotti, Pozzovivo, Duarte and Hesjedal, which has recovered.

. ¡¡ATTENTION THE THIRD OF THE OVERALL WILCO KELDERMAN HAS ALREADY GET DROPPED!! This is the hard part of the climb with ramps above of the 10%, too much for the young dutchman. (Rafal Majka is with him) seems that Duarte and the Pianista of Policoro will be the next.
Johan Chaves suffer at the head of the race, Nibali is really so strong and nobody relay him, he's the only which can put Wiggins in trouble and is doing it. Sammy Sánchez is good placed in the overall classification in the 6th position. He could be the big winner of
the day together with Nibs.
!!!ONLY 2 KMS AND RUJANO GOES FOR THE VICTORY!!! ¡VAMOS JOSÉ! Chaves lose terrain and Samuel and Nibali are alone after Rujaneitor.
¡¡WHAT THE HELL I AM SEEING!! ¡¡GESINK MAKES AN ACCELERATION AND WIGGINS CANT RESPOND, HE CANT FOLLOW THE OTHER GUYS!! Dombrowski is helping him for miss the less as possible. RUJANO HAS DONE GAP ENOUGH FOR THE STAGE VICTORY ¡¡¡¡AND HE
GETS IT!!!! HERE ARRIVES NIBALI WITH SAMUEL "POP" ¡15"! GREAT STAGE FOR THEM. Then Chaves and now we have to wait the arrive of the leader. Gesink and Hesjedal arrive 5°
and 6° respectively losing 55" with the stage winner. Wiggins hasnt arrived yet.
HERE IT IS. WHAT A FACE OF BRADLEY, WE CAN SEE THE PAIN IN HIS EYES. "POP" ¡¡¡1'05"!!!
THE SKY LEADER MAINTAINS THE PINK JERSEY BUT MISS TOO MUCH TIME WITH HIS MAIN OPPONENTS. IN A FEW MOMENTS THE STAGE AND GENERAL CLASSIFICATIONS. THANKS FOR FOLLOW US. GREETINGS FOR
CYCLINGNEWS:D SEE YOU TOMORROW IN THE 15 th STAGE WITH END IN GALIBIER.;)

Anyway the thread has potential. I'm disappointed that you started with stage 14 though. What happened on Montasio? :D

The favourites never do nothing in the first mountain stage of a GT:D
