Interview with Nairo Quintana (Movistar Team)

Nairo+Quintana+ganando.jpg

Nairo, i am Jason_Mercier, in exclusive for Cyclingnews TV. I want to make you some questions.

NQ: "Adelante" "Go, no problem"

One week of race. The high mountain is already here. How do you feel?

NQ: "Bueno, la verdad hemos tenido una semana complicada pero ahora llega nuestro terreno y esperamos arreglar la situación" "We have had a really difficult week, now arrive our terrain and we hope to revert the situation"

You made the most of the Puy de Dome stage. How are you going to confront the Alps?

NQ: "Estamos lejos en la clasificación, tenemos que sacar partido de las ascensiones, no más, formar alianza con Johan y los demás compañeros." "We are far in the GC, we must take advantage of the mountains and realize an alliance with Chaves and the other partners."

If we talk about goals...

NQ: "Mi objetivo es ganar la competencia y dedicárselo a Colombia" "My main goal is win the race and dedicate it to Colombia"

What's your opinion about the comparisons with Pantani?

NQ: "Pantani fue un gran escalador en el ciclismo, pero yo soy Nairo Quintana" "Pantani was a classy climber, but i am Nairo Quintana."

Thanks for your time.

Another round for GC guys. Perfect route for complete riders. But also the pure climbers have something to say.

Wilco Kelderman is in the starting ramp... Today he has a great opportunity for fight for the victory and retrieve the time lost in the Super-Besse and Puy de Dome stages.

His teammate Tom Jelte Slagter is in the final 200m...

Too far from the reference.
