That's terrible! But I'm sure it will be lapped up.

Can the Dawg save cycling! my god.

In many ways I prefer DM's model to the half baked stuff the other "high quality" news sites delivers.

Want a bet on it? Put your money where your mouth is. If I'm one of those people and I'm not, agree to a one month ban.

If mods had any decency they would ban false accusations. It's like footballers waving cards.

I see they have called you a bot, a troll and a sock puppet. Didn't Lance Armstrong call David Walsh a troll

I think the DM in htis case firmly has its tongue in its cheek for smarter readers. But the DM is still an appalling publication.

The high quality from the others is rare.......

That's there usual level of debate. It's like a cult - demonize the oppostion, try to make out that they are part of a campaign. Get a favourable enforcer (Sitting Bison) to eliminate them.

Look for the lifetime ban because I admitted to having a previous account that I can't access.

Well, maybe instead of whining you could debate why you think sky are cleans? Or are you on the fence perhaps?

Bassons not only talks the talk but walks the walk. Walsh was right on Armstrong. Walsh has admitted it was personal.

But why change the subject from Bassons criticism of Sky?

Off topic.....but it is amazing how unbelievable the sky doping deniers are and their criticism of the clinic yet they return continously to a place the profess to intensely dislike...

I find that funny too.

I'll repeat what I said a few years ago(Vuelta 2011 time) if Froome wasn't "British" and riding for Sky, 98% of his defenders here would be calling him out and Froome threads would last 2 pages at most just like all the other threads regarding dopers that don't have defenders.

I think they're clean because I look at the personnel and think they are honest on past history.

However, I have no real vested interest in whether they are clean or not. I don't need to spend every day debating it.

I've not really committed as much emotionally as most of you have. I'm not lusting after that 'I told you so' moment

Please keep this thread on the topic of Sky and Froome and desist with sockpuppet speculation. If you suspect someone PM a mod about it.

And Parker is not martinvickers.

Also on another topic, didn't Paul Kimmage do an article in the Mail which has been linked to, criticising Sky, not that I am a fan of the mail, but is is amazing how fickle many in the clinic are

What the **** are you talking about:confused:

If Kimmage had an article in the Daily Mail, how on earth does that become a stick to beat the clinic with:confused:

Kimmage is his own person. If you don't like that he wrote for them go and tweet him, rather than cry here and blame us for something we never even knew happened, and had no part in.

You care enough to go the extra mile and start revealing posters real life personalities purely out of spite of the fact that they don't believe in Sky.

Yep, no vested interest indeed:cool:

That thing about the passport, you highlighted. No-one has said it's perfect, but it's better to have it than not.

It raises the IQ required to beat the system, but it's still a system that can be and is beaten.

What do we lose if we lost the BP tomorrow?

If people stopped doping because they wanted to - then doping should stop despite the BP's presence or not, yeah?

If not, the assumption is people still want to dope, and would resume immediately the BP was gone.

The Mail's, 'smarter readers', still spend 15 minutes every morning trying to get their shoes on the correct feet.

The Daily Fail is a disgusting rag. Surprised they haven't called Froome a plastic Brit yet. Clearly in 'drugs cheat' foreigner Contador they have an easier target, for now. They'll leave Froome alone while he keeps winning, and doesn't get pinged, but the knives will come out eventually

Froome to depart from SKY?

http://www.lequipe.fr/Cyclisme-sur-route/Article/Dave-brailsford-gagner-avec-un-francais/23029

Interesting, have only read the headlines..

Brailsford apparently talking about winning with a frenchman because the team needs a new goal after succeding with a Brit...

Maybe he knows Froome will not last long, or/and to change team?

Surely would be strange "ditching" Froome who should have several years in him yet.. Unless he knows something we don't

Maybe a full read is neccesary, will have a look at it later..

"I hate the #%%ing frogs like any Brit does but I need your journalists to lay off us in the coming 2 weeks, so I'll make up some BS about winning with a French rider so you'll like us more"

I mean, hell, it's not like you can pick and choose who wins. Or Sky seems to think so! I guess after winning with Froome Brailsford would think he can win with anyone!

Or the AFLD are involved with TdF testing this year and hinting at French glory buys Brailsford breathing space.

Let's face it, Sky could probably pick up a few pointers on Cortisone use and a French TdF win for French-owned ASO would put Sky in the good books for most of the UCI races around the world yeah?

;)

Reza from Europcar could fit the Froome profile pre-Vuelta.
