like many others, i welcome the LL virus afflicting the board for weeks on end finally controlled.

yet i find it difficult to understand WHY the infection was allowed to rage for so long and make almost every clinic thread unreadable...when the voices of trouble were so numerous and vocal all along !

i recall my first encounter with 'her' after 'she' quoting me the day before the judge sparks' verdict.

it was a strange post - 1/3 bate, 1/3 prophetic prognostication, 1/3 obvious insincerity. it set my bs detector in alarm mode. same reaction from many other posters who expressed themselves quite unambiguously. yet, the frantic poster was raging and turning off more and more quality contributors.

Employed for 5 years (205-2010) with the Lance Armstrong Foundation, Advocate for One Voice campaign on Capitol Hill, National Steering Committee for Livestrong Summit - met with congressional aides and congress members to share the One Voice (a collective of cancer organizations) vision for the near future.

Please explain her lifetime ban, PM is fine. Throwing the baby out with the bathwater is never good.

If this is true, then why lie?

I have personally never been helped by the Lance Armstrong Foundation, LiveStrong, and I have never contributed to it (other than through taxes and perhaps buying postage stamps).

From gerard vroomen post on charities: http://gerard.cc/2012/06/27/charity/
For those of us who believed what Lance Armstrong had told us and who now know that his life story is a fraud and that his so-called cancer organization, aptly named “The Lance Armstrong Foundation, aka, LiveStrong”, for those of us who worked hard for our money and then donated it to his “charity” because we believed what he told us, is there any recourse now open to us to have our money returned or re-allocated to a true cancer organization that is involved in cancer research and cares about cancer?

Is there a class action lawsuit against the Lance Armstrong Foundation we can join to have our money redirected toward the fight against cancer?

Have you ever had to deal with duplicitous people? Here's a hint: telling the truth is easy, you never have to remember what you said. "cares about cancer"? Seriously? Wake up to yourself.

Even if people could explain it, Tinman, (sufficiently for their own understanding), I do not think you would see it.

With her background in Integrative Health from the California Institute of Integral Studies I will expect to see her on "Bu11 ***" (Penn and Teller's show) one day.

My last post on the lady in question you all love to hate.

If indeed this is who she is, I certainly believe so. And yes I do think she is misinterpreted by many folk here. If you do some homework on google you will see her posting on many cycling websites (eg Gerard Vroomen), keen to dig into Livestrong funding discrepancies, and certainly no longer a supporter of LA.

Then what was she doing in Wales on Friday? Our Laura speaks "Flemish" and German. I don't think it is the same person.

I don't know... have you read her bio?

Something tells me that someone who is still studying, working and travelling is already past the "dreaming about growing up" stage. Or maybe she's 12 years old.

Her/its profile had been viewed over 1,000 times.

Dave.

Sounded like a Bot. If that was Polish then nice sockpuppet job but I dont reckon it was.

She passed the Turing test. With flying colors. But as JA Tri pointed out to me privately, the real test was on us, and better called Kobayashi Maru. We won.

Hi Polish.

ps. your posting style...is ... exactly the same ... as ebandit .... you know....

...periods, periods...
..everywhere...
...and not a drop of ink...
ip address... 192.168.0.1 .... please DOS that address asap....

...how perfectly pathetic...there is a critical difference between us that the more perceptive folks here know...so to bring you up to speed, blutto is a just your bog standard dumb-*** lummox, whereas Polish is sheer brilliance....and btw, I strongly suggest that you, at the earliest possible convenience, to go pi$$ up a rope....

Cheers

The thing about this LauraLyn troll is that, even though she is now gone her 500-some posts are still here and still, many of them, troll-like and disruptive.

I'd like to respectfully recommend that her posts be treated in the same way as those from the many BPC trolls: deleted in their entirety. If trolls such as this one have their posts deleted, they will maybe be less inclined to come back. Since her(his) intentions were malicious, why give them the respect of maintaining their posts, and why allow the posts to continue disrupting the place? Delete them!

If there isn't time to do it, give me the ability and I'll do it.

That's what I was thinking! That's why I've included a clever title to see if she takes the bait.

Not only does she seem to live everywhere in the world, but she also enjoys taking the train and reading the Süddeutsche Zeitung.

The Laura Lyn Jansen bio says she lives in Austin. Does Austin have a train station? Can you buy the Süddeutsche Zeitung there? Maybe we should get Glenn to go down there and scope the place out.

If that is what it takes then no problem.

They have a train station but the last time I checked........there is no Süddeutsche Zeitung sold at the Hudson News stand. ;)

The problem is that the trolls/sockpuppets have already got their new IDs ready, maybe a slight tweak in the posting style but it'll be the same old same old.

So I'm sure that it'll be back before we know it.

"If it was any other rider currently under suspension from the UCI, we would have reacted the same way."

Lance isn't currently under suspension from the UCI. They are waiting the 'reasoned decision.'

Jack Aubrey said:
Where are Hincapie, Leipheimer, et al. in this? They have only beaten around the bush each time they get asked about Lance. Why? What is preventing them from just coming out with it? The two of them could put it all to rest.

FYI: Jane Aubrey is the Australian regional editor for CN. This is what I would term "troll by username".

Jack Aubrey is also the name of the captain in the series of novels written by the late Patrick O Brian. I can't think of any connection between that and cycling, however, so maybe yours makes more sense.

Did you ever send a message to the owner of that website?

I did. Here's the reply:

Unfortunately you have not found the LauraLynn you are looking for, even though I am a cyclist as well.
