It sounds like the team is taking good care of him and his family. It must be incredibly difficult for his wife. It sounds like she didn't bring their child over yet?
Knowing it makes Soler happy will make me happy every time I see Uran in that white jersey.

He already recognises the people from his environment and started talking. You can keep short conversations with him. He's still really tired, and that's normal due to the magnitude of the blow he suffered, but his progress is good, especially during this last week.
According to Revista Solo Ciclismo, Soler has no recollection of the incident but now recognises his visitors which include his wife, Movistar teammates and Miguel Indurain.
Do you know if they had any sort of new information or if they were speculating? Because I don't think there's been any news in a while, but they might have talked to the team directly.Fergoose said:I don't have a link to any updates, but a couple of commentators on UK coverage have now indicated Soler may be unlikely to make a full recovery, never mind resume his career. Lets hope Lastras' finish line prayer gets answered - a cyclist I really enjoy watching.
Wow, I hadn't seen that. It's awesome - not just that he's walking, but that no significant brain damage seems to be apparent. They're talking more about his physical rehabilitation than anything else in that article. That's great news.Duartista said:Last I read was this article:

This was on 12th August and seemed quite encouraging - he had just started walking again at that point.
Yep. Nice story about Pedro Horillo visiting as well. I just hope nothing's gone wrong since then - hopefully the ITV commentators just weren't fully updated on his condition.hrotha said:Wow, I hadn't seen that.
