Spencer the Half Wit said:If you're talking about the phone hacking that was News Corp, who are different to Sky. Admittedly, News Corp have a large stake in Sky, but not a controlling interest, as that bid was blocked, eventually, by the Government.
I was talking about News Corp.
IMO they're the same company. Same with Fox. All the same thing, just different countries.
As for the racing jerseys. That is just how it panned out. Crashes meant that OPQS didn't win what they should have.
But on the issue of $$$ to be made from Anglo Saxon interests, yes Cycle Chic has a very good point.
I'd love to know if Specialized and Cervelo still make the most bike sales. Anyone know for the years post 2000? How are Trek fairing? How has the USA market gone? Cervelo still numero uno in triathlon? Or have Pinarellos and BMC gained ground? Have the brands associated with team Sky benefited largely? Anyone know?
Because that is the real tell. I'd wager they have. Quite well. I'd also wager the more traditional Euro markets have faltered slightly or had no growth. It is always about the $$$ people. Think I am wrong? Why is a Brit running for UCI Presidency? Now of all times? The money. They want to control where it goes. Duh!!!
