No World Tour rider is allowed to ride a 2.2 race like the Vuelta a Colombia - so no one will ride the Vuelta a Colombia in preparation of the Tour.

I found this really strange too. Especially because he rode a strong Giro last year.
I know he had serious knee problems after the Giro, and was not able to race for a couple of months. But i don't know why Southeast didn't resign him. Maybe because they thought the knee problems were too serious?

Southeast also didn't resign Finetto, that team seems to be a bit of a mess.
