full of **** is rolf sorensens middle name. I wouldn't believe him when he's breathing.

Hehe we all know why you would desbelieve anyone claiming it was announced on the radio: a colombian is up the road

I still think they have gone too early. Only Quintana has a teammate left. 40 kilometers in this conditions on your own will cost a lot of energy. Gutsy move, great stage, but I think they will pay for it sooner or later. Maybe even today.

Not if those who chose not to did so because they were told not to race by the organisers

they would've been instructed by their team cars

probably only the english speaking cars thought it was neutralised because they read the tweet

Not necessarily. Riders stopping to get proper gear for a descent is a pretty common sight in extremely difficult conditions.

Yeah, but they were literally taking there time, as opposed to Movistar who went straight past, those who wanted jackets grabbing them as they moved.

but we don't know what they were told, what we do know is that Uran/others watched their rivals ride away from them and decided not to follow.

Commentators kirby and Lloyd said they heard it was neutralised over race radio

Now they are saying a communication was prepared about neutralisation, but it may not have been transmitted

All very confusing. Will make for fireworks on the final climb at least

That's why stages with multiple mountains are so great. You force riders into positions where they have to choose what to do.

Things like this happen on dry days too btw.
