Jeg har aldrig set det her før. Stemningen er ophidset. Greenedges sportsdirektør hæver stemmen. Riis har haft ordet pic.twitter.com/LxYuKdhctH

Riis

It's good to see Riis and Lefevere most outraged by this. That makes me happy.

Yeah, after the race, when it was too late.

Did he wave his red flag after the race? Hesjedal, Quintana and Rolland are all grown-up men, I'm sure they don't need a guy on a motorbike pulling them off their bikes to know the meaning of that.

Staghøj's says that Tinkov is speaking now - should be colourful :D

Apparently Tinkov and the Greenedge SD are argueing loudly

so, from Roche diary it looks like he, Majka, Uran, Evans, and other teammates (Aru too, Rai tv said so) stopped at the top.

Nairo, Izaguirre, Rolland and Ryder maybe made a mistake overtaking the motorbike.
BUT look at the picture with the motorbike in front on the, and the snow and the visibility. wow.
BIG COJONES for them. not only not stopping to refuel and dress, but attacking through a storm above 2500 meters!

great ride anyway. just a shame the confusion about the safety-neutralisation.

but big cojones

Really? I didn't know about the possibility of red flag waving during a stage to neutralize. I don't think it is out of the realm of possibilities to assume that's just a motorbike that is trying to warn for the corners. In the end, there are hundreds of sign givers every race that are waving flags...

He should've acted during the race. He is the organizer and he failed his job organizing the race.

Red flag on moto to show dangerous corners?

well they used the red flags also in the canola stage to warn the peloton to slow down because of the hailstones on the road, slippery condition.i've seen them multiple times used when obstacles were on the road or very dangerous descents. you can't figure out if the race is neutralized just from those flags. 100% sure.
i can see why quintana overpassed them, "well you stayed in front of us these first few hairpins, now the road is clear, no fog. move at the side, we have a race here".
i don't blame europcar and quintana. in my opnion, the only at fault are the organizers. that is a very ambiguous radio message for christ sake.

It's so good to see shady business figures and pathological liars like Riis and Lefevere standing up for fair cycling :)

And things like this don't happen in F1 (although there are lots of controversies over rules interpretations every year in that sport) because the safety car implementation is well-established.

Pretty certain the front group will play this card at some point.

Yes, there was going to be a problem anyway for those stopping vs those who didn't when the flag was lowered, just assuming they could catch up is not a good excuse, it's not a Sunday ride! The reality is that they were probably happy to see Quintana take off so far away thinking he would get exhausted.

About yesterday. Quintana says Rolland and a team mate attacked on the descent. Then he followed. Rolland says it was the other way around.

So there was an attack

I agree, I saw red flags used to warn about dangerous parts, but I do not remembers red flags on motos (what would be the point of that?)
