Why does the E-Giro bother me a bit?
Maybe I cling too tightly to the idea of human power even thru "middle age".

I think for me it’s how much less serious it is even compared to a normal cyclosportive and how the winner seems to be decided before the ride most of the time. Why does the E-Giro bother me a bit?

One of the riders had only one leg, which is very impressive in cycling. In such a case an E-bike is very understandable methinks. Why does the E-Giro bother me a bit?

I think it's just the weight of getting a Vuelta podium at 19 or whatever it was, and being the backup QB behind Pogacar doesn't help.Ayuso is very talented but there seems to be an element of chasing or desperation about him ...cant really express what I mean..but a sense of unease
Needs a new team with backing and a considered approach to stepping up...maybe a Vuelta first
What's the excuse of the other 3000 riders? One of the riders had only one leg, which is very impressive in cycling. In such a case an E-bike is very understandable methinks.
Hm, maybe he was just used to cycling with both legs before the leg got amputated and wasn't willing to give it up for a hand cycle, who knows. What's the excuse of the other 3000 riders?
I did see a one leg guy on a venge last Saturday. It was amazing how stable he kept it when starting from a stop. Personally I think I'd opt for a hand cycle if I were in his shoe.

That would be disappointing . . . would rather see all the big guns contest the stageThis is the move if the riders up front want it to be. All the teams with numbers are there.
At the pace G2 is going there will be no space left for the peloton to slot into...Jury decision is to stop the peloton before entering the circuit and give the break a 5 minute gap before letting the peloton start again.
Well yeah. But most of those riders had 2 legs, though I admit I didnt check all of them. One of the riders had only one leg, which is very impressive in cycling. In such a case an E-bike is very understandable methinks.
