was it Planckaert who did all the work earlier on? On paper he could be the fastest from that group, but of course not if he spent that much energy already.

Denz smash. Don't think it will come to a sprint, one or two will go clear (Denz, Hoole, Van Baarle maybe).

yea, perhaps the wout, pederson and groves battle offer more stardom, but one of these "lesser" names now have an opportunity to win a stage in the giro. Lets go.
Always happy to see a break take it when the full peloton is chasing. In this case, though, was interested to see a showdown of the sprinters without any leadouts.

This is about the most underwhelming way this finale could be playing out. Although tbf Denz is the only rider who deserves it, somehow in a group of 34 riders nobody else had both the legs and the brains.
