Rolland gained it on the MJ group.

I've got Nibali 1.05 and MJ 1.55 at the top, Nibali 55s and MJ 2.25 right now according to tour tracker. Nibali was down to 50s at some point.

Yes but why wait until froomes mechanical. It could have led to a chain reaction of attacks, it was classless, disappointing too because he looks strong enough to win the stage anyway
