I wonder if anyone was struggling because they don't have gears optimized for the Mortirolo but will do better on the Stelvio.

Good question: was wondering why some looked so overgeared. (Thinking of Wiggins on Angliru last year, etc.)

I'm really really hoping for a massacre on the Stelvio.

It must happen, but it won't happen if Hesjedal is able to follow everyone. Which seems very likely.

Yeah of course Basso is saving himself for Monday's third rest day

Basso is gased. What about the rest? Are they all equally gased? So gased they can't ride harder than bloody Pauwels on the bloody Mortirolo?

Now, now, don't be harsh. Didn't they take like 30 seconds on Zaugg on the whole climb?

But hey, they're giving it their all and racing as hard as they can...

Again, how about it was a half-arsed effort and not a real, sustained attack?

Descender said:
Almost as if it was half-arsed.

OK, you've made your point. We get it. Can you go away now? Please?

1 mountain and 45 kilometers more until Canada's first and only GT victory!

PLEASE don't screw it up!!! :D

Seriously...it's nice to see a Canadian not afraid to attack the "stars".
