Well, I hope Zaugg takes the stage now, I guess.

Given Lombardia was his first major victory, Stelvio wouldn't be a bad 2nd!

Omg, I feel sorry for the Hitch for anyone who believes in romanticized cycling, I can't blame organizers. Simply the things unfolded this way. Hopefully, everything we saw at this Giro will entail considered opinions from many forum members, the Giro poets included. I'd like Ryder to win the stage very much.

I completely agree with this. The parcours was great, there were some very well designed stages.

I'd LOVE it, but most likely not going to happen.
Hate to say it, but there is going to be a TON of attacks on the Stelvio and he can't cover all of them. If he tries he will blow up. Most likely will loose a bit of time to Scarface (but not enough to fear in the TT).

When's the last time someone won the Giro WITHOUT winning a stage? :confused:
