I love how Voight's age is defined in terms of days older than Lance Armstrong.

Jeebus, I don't think I can take it anymore.

haha! What is it, one day? I believe Armstrong once said he was glad to be back and still not be the oldest cyclist. Voigt was older...

anyhow, let's focus on the important. Only 1km till the start of the climb, they just passed Bolzano

PS> Who thinks that the commentator will start to cry like a big baby, when LA gets dropped?

Gotta love DiLuca. He always looks bad@ss. For some reason the shifty way he looks around at his rivals reminds me of Tuco in The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.

Di Luca certainly is ugly.

? What have they done besides ride at the front when they dont have to?
They are making a hard race now on the last climb. It was Columbia who worked all the stage.

Huh, what a difference between Voigt's determinated face yesterday and Voeckler's suffering one today!

Those estimates are done by considering the same speed all the time - while obviously their average speed is going to drop on the last climb.

Besides, the official start was at 13.37 instead of 13.50.

Nonetheless, they are flying. True, they had a long descent, but their average was over 46 km/h a few minutes ago despite the first climb.

EDIT: officially 45,7 km/h (28.4 mph) average speed after two hours.

Yeah, I get the average speed concept. However, they have been WAY ahead of the fastest time checks - STILL 26 mins ahead of the fastest estimate right now

LIQ climbers managed to set the pace in the first steep section for about 7k. Basso had 2-3 in front of him (incl exlc pelli). So they could set the pace again on the following steeper section, full throttle, for around 3-5k I guess. Which leaves him by himself the last 5k?

No they were the flat stage guys. For example Szmyd didn't take a pull I think.
