LA out of the saddle and fading back in the group again, like yesterday...

four years out, and recovering from a broken collarbone... i really cannot fathom why anyone is a) surprised about him dropping back b) cares c) was expecting him to go out and win the giro or something...

dim - chill out. I was making an observation. I am not surprised, was not expecting him to win, but I actually do care

I think it's because of what Astana did at the Giro last year. They kept saying 'oh, we're not prepared, Conti has been on the beach, we don't have any expectations, blah blah blah', and then they drugged him up to his eyeballs and he destroyed the field. A lot of people seem to be expecting the same thing this year with Lance.
