As an exception I find it kanda nice to see someone win who went for it with 50km out. Crazy. Impressive. And indeed, boring in one way. But one year that will stick in the mind for years to come nevertheless.

Might as well "waste" a good weather PR this way.... [starting my rain dance for 2011 early]

yeah spartacus did an amazing job, what a great rider he is.

hammond did great. Boonen absolutely spent.

leukemans gets vasc. 6th (great classics campaign by him. Podium at e3, 4th at flanders and 5th here. Props to him)

oh yeahh... VASC. > BMC :D

Me too.

And I liked seeing Cancellara's tears of ... happiness? relief?

Well, I hoped that 2010 would become the year in which the book on "how races are won in the modern era" would be thoroughly binned, along with the ones on "how a team controls the Tour", "you must concentrate on one goal if you want to succeed" and "modern racing doesn't allow for all-rounders to shine or exist".

So far, so good....

I've excepted that this won't be the year just quite yet in which they bin planet Armstrong...

Great work by Hammond to secure fourth spot and help Thor for a chance for second.

Despite the lack of suspense, it was a great race, mainly in the spectacle of trying to determine by how much time can Spartacus put into mere mortals in a 50km time trial. Would have liked someone else besides the usual suspects to at least podium, I had hoped for a Boom or even Sagan to podium, but maybe next year.
