Absolutely, saying anything else is like saying the earth is flat.Specialization is a proof how cycling has becoming harder and better.
Thats why it so special to see what a rider like Pog is doing at the moment. Incredible rider .

Yep. We are living in a era where we have a rider who is not gonna last forever and we probably won't see another rider like him for the next 20/30 years (I don't know how many years).Absolutely, saying anything else is like saying the earth is flat.

Unless he helps early on the Capos... I definitely think he will get lost in the mix in the positioning before Cipressa and will be far back going into it. Wont be of much help.I saw PCS startlist for MSR and McNulty is expected to race MSR? It would be better to see him in Catalunya. He can't move a finger for other rider as we will see in PN.
As we saw last year in PN, he is their best card for GC. Rain, wind, splits and Almeida is gone.I saw PCS startlist for MSR and McNulty is expected to race MSR? It would be better to see him in Catalunya. He can't move a finger for other rider as we will see in PN.
I have thought this year is Pog’s to win MSR, but The closer it gets I am changing my mind, it will be very difficult to drop Ganna, MVDP, Even Phillipsen on Cipressa or Poggio, the climbs just aren’t very hard for him. I predict a second place to one of the above.Unless he helps early on the Capos... This will likely be key for UAE. Last year the others all crowded UAE and then spread out on the road in Cipressa. They will try do that again. It took a while before Covi, Del Toro and so on could get to the front. Ulissi and Hirschi comletely useless.
UAE need to thin out the peloton a bit on the Capos. Drop some roulers.
MSR will be very tough to win. Race is too easy, probably they will introduce Manie in the future but right now, Pogi doesn't have a chance.I have thought this year is Pog’s to win MSR, but The closer it gets I am changing my mind, it will be very difficult to drop Ganna, MVDP, Even Phillipsen on Cipressa or Poggio, the climbs just aren’t very hard for him. Having said that, I do think to wait for Poggio would be a mistake and he should at least try on Cipressa.
McNulty is a very overrated climber. As we saw last year in PN, he is their best card for GC. Rain, wind, splits and Almeida is gone.

He is doing a 2017 Froome. He has time to improve. How can you compete with a goat in july when you are getting schooled by his domestique in march🤔

And what are you trying to say?But 4 weeks ago he said he has made a step this year
Some people were talking how UAE looked worse this season... they already have 16 wins! Last year, they finished TA with 12 wins in the season!
Their TTTs haven't been good but UAE riders are doing good performances in ITTs. UAE Tour (Vine and Pogacar), Tirreno Adriatico (Ayuso, Del Toro). Christen and Morgado were really bad in Algarve but they are kids.Their TT setup did not look great TBH. Otherwise they are on fire early on.
Just like he did in 2023How can you compete with a goat in july when you are getting schooled by his domestique in march🤔
How fast did they climb in 2023 compared to today?Just like he did in 2023

It's great that we can compare this 1 to 1 as the conditions was exactly the same.View: https://x.com/ammattipyoraily/status/1899853941354963111?t=4DuBFchYu6Tf1tTpgxKpOA&s=19
Almeida was slower than Pogacar. However, Jonas was faster than in 2023. But that's because he didn't blow up this year unlike in 2023 when he blew up while trying to close the gap to Pogacar
Interesting and he faded quite badly again in the end here.View: https://x.com/ammattipyoraily/status/1899853941354963111?t=4DuBFchYu6Tf1tTpgxKpOA&s=19
