Nah, an attack in Cipressa would be greater.poggio is 3,7 km,pog needs to go with 1,5 left and put 10w/kg for 2 and half and than tt til end.can he do it,lol.

Don't win a a few times more then threaten to not race it unless they add Pompeiana -> win it 5 times in a row >>> profit? No he won't. MSR:
1) is a monument
2) it doesn't collide with anything in the schedule
3) is relatively easy in terms of attrition
Teddy will ride it till the end of his career.
He needs at least 5sec at the top, or he will be brought back in the descent.
Full UAE setup on Poggio just doesn't work. He's in 2nd wheel eating more wind than the rest, and the first attack last year dropped nobody. Then he managed to get MvdP out of position and he closed it down anyway despite being on his first race day for the season.Yes, being simply first on Poggio may not be enough if guys just behind descend better. He would need a proper selection and monster work by UAE (without being blocked at the start of Cipressa or Poggio). We will see. There's also an option that he will attack from a small group in the last 1-2 km and hope for a moment of hesitation.
Some people are crazy!People out there getting Pog tattoos

Also now you too can be a world champion! For 300€.

Yeah, like of course he was still gonna winSome people are crazy!
Still able to crush Pidcock, not just win.Yeah, like of course he was still gonna win![]()
No. MVDP would had won in the sprint against Pogacar.Exactly what happened.
MVDP closed the gap and responded to his attacks. Sacrificed himself.
Otherwise, Pog likely goes solo.
It was a truly great performance to make a comeback like that.Still able to crush Pidcock, not just win.
Yup, and San Remo is a race where you may have a plan... but it is hard to execute. Every other team will want to ride to stop UAE and Pog, just like last year going into Cipressa.Yes, being simply first on Poggio may not be enough if guys just behind descend better. That was after he had closed the gapNo. MVDP would had won in the sprint against Pogacar.
MDVP sacrificied his victory to Philipsen.
Pogacar attacked, Van der poel closed the gap. That was after he had closed the gap
Yup, responded to his attacks and then pulled the group back right behind him in the wheel. That was after he had closed the gap
Pogi learned that lesson 2022 RVV.Pogacar attacked, Van der poel closed the gap.
If Van der poel works with Pogacar on the descent, they would both fight for the victory, and MVDP would be the favourite in the sprint.
Welcome back mate.Im late to the party but that was a beatiful race. Pog still looks like he is 3x better than everyone else.
Did some agriculture stuff he didnt seem to particular enjoy and went on the bike and finished the fastest Strade yet. Awesome racing from all top 5 contestants. Grinta. Pure ciclismo.
Also on a general basis UAE seems to have increased the gap across the board (besides TT equipment) which if your everyone else is a frightening sign.![]()
You could also ask yourself if MVDP could’ve dropped Pogacar in the descentPogacar attacked, Van der poel closed the gap.

Not so sure about that as most of the improvements in UAE have come from Christen/Morgado/Ayuso who are all at an age and experience level where it is reasonable to expect a significant amount of development in them.Im late to the party but that was a beatiful race. Pog still looks like he is 3x better than everyone else.

A lot of their young riders are still trained by San MillánFor sure sola has impacted the culture of training and how coaches at uae are managing their cyclists
