He has to play smart in Roubaix. The odds are more inclined towards Van der Poel here than in San Remo. Maybe that plays into his favor, he won't be the sole man to watch in the race.

He wants to race PR because he wants to race against the best of his generation and he wants to win all the Monuments. Right now the best racer besides himself is MvdP and he needs to figure out how to win PR. Might as well start this season. Winning the TdF isn't that much a challenge for him right now with Jonas and Remco not up to par.

I've said for a long time that he should ride all five monuments every year so I'm thrilled about the decision, although I would have liked to see him do E3 as a preparation race.

I've also always said that I thought Paris-Roubaix is easier for him to win than Milan-Sanremo, but actually after seeing him explode the field on Cipressa this year, I'm not so sure that's the case any longer.

I think he just want to really ride it and see how it goes. Great ambition and wants to win the major races. Not sit them out, like many others who never dare.

GOAT mentality.

The real reason he had to skip E3 and Wevelgem. Was scheduled to do some work this week.

Wait, so we actually get to see Teddy in Roubaix already this year? Awesome news!

Also, it's sensible to remove Gent. I never understood why it was planned in his schedule in the first place. E3 also makes sense when he is doing Roubaix. Pogacar is still going to do all the Ardennes afterward.

He wants to win everything. Full palmares is the goal

Tadej once again proved that he is real ciclismo. He is risking getting destroyed and ruining his season in Roubaix but he is still going there. The man has balls unlike his coward rival from Denmark.
Hats down!

no no no. calm down. every rider has his own program. I want Pog to win Roubaix. but please don't insult the riders. they are 2 different riders and mentalities. please DO NOT INSULT THE RIDERS

Fantastic news for the sport and it shows great character I think. Wanting to compete for the biggest prizes against the best competitors is what sport should be all about.

I am sure racing against Mathieu gives Tadej just as much if not more motivation than racing against Jonas in the Tour. Massive probs to Tadej for investing in the rivalry with Mathieu, it makes the upcoming races much more interesting. Hopefully we can see an on form Wout in the mix as well and I already cannot wait for RVV and PR.

Will be awesome when MVDP and Pog sit down after their careers is done going through all of these battles.

Everyone thought MVDP vs Van Aert would be battling each other for years... but it didnt end up being one at all. Very one-sided.

This spring is going to deliver. So good Pog is doing PR. I'm pumped. Already third favorite in the betting odds behind MVDP and Wout.

We won't see 80km solos / processions like last year which is great for the sport and our entertainment.

I always wished my idol nibali did Roubaix after his performance in the cobbles on the tour 2014. But he kept skipping it to target the giro, and then finally when he decided to do Roubaix in 2022 his last year, he got an illness on the preparation. Better do the races when you want instead of waiting. Learn from vincnenzo stupid decision

I have an inside info that after the finish in sanremo there was a tense fight between pog & narvaez in the bus with pog shouting at jonny for why he lead him out too fast on cipressa & jhonny blaming pog for his missed chance in the race eventually Gianneti had to interfere & decided to pull out both of them from E3 and its said that their participation in the team is no longer certain for the future.

Wait. Giannitti says pogi’s participation is no longer certain? lol.

Let’s get one thing straight. Gianattis participation is no longer certain

Gianneti is the most powerful person in the team. Just remember what he did to ayuso
I’d rank the sheik as the most powerful. And he knows Gianatti can be replaced. Quite effectively replaced. Pogi is irreplaceable and that is power.
