I don‘t think the rain suits Van der Poel in Roubaix quite as much as some say, it also inhibits his powerful acceleration.
I don't know if I agree with you but I can tell you MVP is overrated in his bike handling. He is very good, probably the best but it is silly to think he can win PR based on his technique when the only (truly) technical PR he raced, he was beaten by Sonny (and Veermersch).
MVP wins this race if his legs are great as usual.

Haven't u seen any cyclo cross race the past couple of years? He constantly dropped wva due to his techniques on the mud especially on the descending parts

WVA is a shadow of his former self. MVP wins cyclo cross races because he is more powerful. In 2023, he was beaten by WVA sometimes, do you really think MVP got so much better technically?
I will say again, he is very good but he wins these races because he is a monster (limitless power).
