If UAE can't control a stage with less than 170 km and zero high mountains, they are screwed in the mountains.
Sometimes it's harder to control a stage like tomorrow's. Because it starts uphill and there's no flat section. And because there are more riders capable of handling the mid-mountain stage than the high-mountain stage, so tomorrow's break probabbly will be more competitive than a high-mountain stage.

At 4300 meters of climbing tomorrow will be very difficult for a team to manage. How the break is managed is everything tomorrow. No Jorg in the break means visma is wasting Kj contributing to the chase.

Yup. If not, he will be alone against 4 Visma.
Pog when he's alone against Visma:

They are all good in that. I'm not worried, except with WVA.

I still fail to understand why on Earth he should follow Jorgenson. Even more important what kind a threat he would be
Jorgenson finished eighth last year, not even close to sixth behind Landa.

There's a huge gap between Jorgenson and what Roglic was in the mountains.

And knowing that, Visma wants to win the Tour with Vingegaard. Imagine Vingegaard's wife if they were to consider winning the Tour with Jorgenson. But it's not realistic, unless Jorgenson has taken six steps forward in one year.
Vingegaard at least finished second in 2021, far behind Pogacar, but at least second. Jorgenson finished far behind Landa, even.

I really don’t think they can allow Jorgensen into the break and this is one of 3 total guys they need to attend to carefully.
Well they have to, Pog can't close Jorgenson for 2 weeks in a row. That would give Jonas the upper hand

The only serious threat Jorg poses tomorrow in GC terms is UAE chasing that break all day and wasting Kj. Just stick to the guy until a break is formed

As long as Pogacar isn't stronger than Jonas, there won't be any threat. Are you seriously trying to compare Roglic to Jörgenson? Please. There are two levels of class between the two. Record numbers still count for something, even in the tactical implications of teams. Jorgenson's only usefulness will be if Pogacar is dropped in a long-range attack by Jonas.

Breaking news (for everyone). In 2022, Pogacar lost not because he was 1 vs. 3/4, but because he was significantly inferior to Jonas in the high mountains and overall too

Visma might lengthen the gap to Almeida tomorrow. I don't see UAE allowing any other scenario
The gap to Almeida will become infinitely big tomorrow, since he has abandoned the race. Which is too bad as he was Pogi's strongest helper... but in the end it won't really matter if Pogi is as strong as he has been for quite some time now.

Stage 11 will also have a climb very steep in the end so let's see if Pogacar can drop Vingegaard there or will just wait for Narvaez to pace.
