Every crash is race incident. What does this even mean? He should get a yellow card at least.
remco example is a good one, visibly he looked worse than pogacar and he won the TT just after. But it's impossible to sayexactly, I agree
No one on earth currently knows his condition. Only him. Remco, for example, was visibly more sore and bruised after his crash in the third stage. From what we can see, the impact is minimal and we can be hopeful, we await his words. Tomorrow we will see.
He can see all of pogis body and position within the incident. Pog wasn’t on his wheel
Struth the reactions here vary wildlyI think Pogacar should pull out of the race and focus on the Vuelta and Worlds. It's not possible to compete with Jonas when you have missing skin and bruises.

Ran him over.He rode over pogis front wheel and did it from behind
we have no idea, after the race he actually looked good given the circumstances, remco looked worst on stage 3 after his crash and in the stage 5 TT he was on his normal levelEven if nothing is broken, with those abrasions, he won't rest well. And the bruises hurt more in the days afterward.
There is a reason why riders don't ride like this around the top favorites. Maybe they take hard lines with others in the peloton, but not the favorites. I don't know what this looks like in the peloton tomorrow, but he outta just hang in the back and stay away from the larger riders of favorites. I wouldn't want this guy close to my team.He was focused to follow the wheels and accelerate. Do not know why exactly but anyway.
If Pog is OK you will laugh at this on Saturday. Rainy and cold day incoming![]()
I don't think so, all Visma could have done was drop his team, but not Pogacar, who would have destroyed Vingegaard. Now, maybe, Gianetti's protegge will be less dominant. Not true with Almeida out. Yates looking like a retired man and Sivakov sick.
Tomorrow it would have been a peak Vingo + 3 Visma vs Pogi.
exactly, UCI should take these things seriously instead of taking ridiculous decisions about safety. Most of safety problems arise because of riders' behaviour and this is a prime example of that. The UNO x rider should leave this raceThere is a reason why riders don't ride like this around the top favorites. Maybe they take hard lines with others in the peloton, but not the favorites. He will attack. 100%.Pog was on the radio and a bit inattentative, didn't really follow the flow of that small bunch. But, THJ came from behind and cut him off quite aggressively, hard to deny that.
The crash will surely have an affect on him, at least the first couple of days. Question is how much it will affect him.
If he attacks tomorrow we can draw the conclusion it wasn't too bad.
I think the effect will be felt first on the MTT and more on the Superbagneres stage.Pog was on the radio and a bit inattentative, didn't really follow the flow of that small bunch. But, THJ came from behind and cut him off quite aggressively, hard to deny that.

flow of the bunch? inattentive? a rider deviated and sprinted directly into his handlebar, not even the wheel, he went directly into his handlebarPog was on the radio and a bit inattentative, didn't really follow the flow of that small bunch. We can hope so, but we don't know that yet. It will depend on how badly he is hurt. Will he be able to sleep ok? How energydraining will the healing be?He will attack. 100%.
Nah, he was just moving ahead. It's up to the guy behind to pay attention to what's going on.flow of the bunch? inattentive? a rider deviated and sprinted directly into his handlebar, not even the wheel, he went directly into his handlebar
It's already tomorrow and he will not have a single day to "rest"I think the effect will be felt first on the MTT and more on the Superbagneres stage.
Why the hell is he following jorgenson? He has been doing it this whole tour & todays was even more frustrating. Narvaez was in the group when he is trying to close the attack of jorgenson on a flat mate on a flat😡what are you talking about, a rider made a deviation a sprinted directly into his front wheel
The combination of surprise, urgency and anger can make you do amazing things. He did seem to avoid any hard contact and the one upright barrier was spring-mounted. That doesn't mean tomorrow it won't hurt but he'll get serious physio attention now and a good warmup tomorrow. The way how he jumped back on his feet and bike, it's comforting. I don't even see much damage to clothing, which is usually a clue. No blood. No big tears. It doesn't look that bad. Obviously, it would have been better to stand, but that's racing.
come on, jorgenson attacks have nothing to do with this, if a rider decides to sprint into your wheel and crash you out there's nothing you can doWhy the hell is he following jorgenson? What was vismas strategy going into this tour? It was to try to create chaos in the hope he make a mistake otherwise pound for pound they knew they can't beat him & guess what he does.. makes the mistakes almost relentlessly. Its obvious they're trying to get in his head & he should get calm, let jorgenson attack and make narvaez pace. Although there is deviation from Johansson the crash is the addition of all this chaos in his head which he should have enjoyed a calm race today
He doesn't have anything big. This doesn't mean he isn't hurt.
