The discussion about 'not understanding racing, if you haven't actually done it' comes up several times per year. I tend not to wade in because I'm an 'expert' on the NFL, but I never played beyond HS. But in this case I'm jumping in: it is clear that many of the posts above are being typed by people who have never crashed before (and then had to race the next day(s). Ok, climbing back out...

Even though I am reassured by his good spirit, I still maintain he is going to lose some time to Vingegaard tomorrow :((

I think he will fight to limit his loss the next 3 days, and try to recover for 3rd week mountain stages.

I honestly think this one of Pogis big strengths - he is just a chilled dude. Obviously the crash at a relatively high speed will take something out of him but I would argue if you go on to really worry on how much and how long it will take to fully recover - you amplify the effect while Pogi with his attitude deals with it in the best way possible.

Say goodbye to the natural break era Visma. from now on its the place to put watts on the rider taking the break.

Yup. I'm not too optimistic right now. Crashing at 50 kph is never a good thing.

Tomorrow will be the most difficult. Hours in the saddle, multiple climbs.
The MTT should be easier: it's a standalone, short effort and it's easier to push hard then.

There have been a number of occasions in tour history where there has been a reticence to attack a 'winged leader. Simon with a broken collarbone for example.
But unfortunately for Pogacar he is wearing the wrong colour jersey.

The only one who was in the main group. Adam Yates was dropped on a short climb. He won't make the final climb tomorrow. A disaster.
Now I have to agree with you. Yates has been a total disaster this season and will not be really important for Pogacar in the mountains.

Sivakov didn't seem ill today, probably just a stomach ache, but he didn't make it through the climb either.

They've both been in bad shape all year.
I would have ruled Yates out of the Tour. To be in this condition, it's better to see what Majka can do at 40%. But Yates is as if he didn't come at all. I hope tomorrow will be different, but I'm afraid he'll be out on the penultimate climb.
