His right side was perfectly clean and fine. If he has any injury, it's on his left side (hip, hand or elbow).

Pogacar just posted on Twitter that he will only need 1_knee to win, plans to have surgery during the stage, will get a gap big enough for doctor to do a complete replacement!! I didn't want him to win because of that annoying hair through the helmet obsession.. But now I am all in..I sent an email to the bee keeper who did the Juan Ayuso handy work.. Hopefully we can get decent pheromone samples from Visma hotel linen and towels!! Wasps are extra. but with go fund me page the bees will just be a bonus!! Go Pog..

I think most of his right knee was above curb level so that sounds unlikely.

It's from a stock knee model photo from a catalogue!!
That picture is the knee of Rui Costa 2013 when he fell in Italian hotel after winning worlds!! He was racing around the bar to celebrate!! Took a spill.. Was OK

Ridiculous amount of overreaction to what was a racing incident. Pogacar was unlucky with the timing of the move but Johannessen had no need to apologise publicly and wouldn’t have done so had it not been one of the top riders.

Appalling amount of underreaction to a racing incident that shouldn't have happened.

It will affect Pogacar tomorrow for sure and if anyone sees this as an opportunity (withholding more comments)

This is exactly right.. And by the time you get to this level you have been involved in dozens of crashes.. Just move on..because of billions of media input points even the couple of riders involved are buying into it's a big deal.. It's not.. Internet echo chamber.. And still little to no comment if the model of bike Pogacar rode today played a role in his roll around... It's coming.. Grams plus or minus is the reason he got off..

So first of the big four hitting the deck, likely not the last. Good to see the morale is high, on if the crash will take its toll, best to wait and see. Realistically Pogi landed on his hip rather hard and i do expect some setbacks because of that.
