His best bet would be to apply his usual tactics and attempt to superglue himself to Pogi wheel at all times and help to turn it into a 1v1 by lifting the pace on Mont Kigali.
If he limits themselves to that, Remco or someone else will win the World Cup.
A World Cup isn't like a stage race. Almost none of them develop the way you think they do in the run-up.

I actually don’t know how long he will ride - early retirement for sure possible. But even then - good for him. And leaving on top is anyway more legendary than whatever Froome and many more do.
What a waste of talent if you ask me. Probably the most talented rider cycling has ever seen and he is wasting his talent by retiring too soon.
Merckx is like a myth in cycling, there are many comparisons (pure mocking) but now that we finally have a rider with a realistic chance of getting close to Merckx's palmares, he is retiring befor turning 30... this is what I think he will do. Win gold in LA and never ride a bike professionally anymore.

I confidently give it close to zero chance he retires in 2028. It's not even a certainty that route will suit him perfectly. I think he'll have one more contract extension then maybe retire at around 35 years old.

Pog seems to be serious about ‘early’retirement, maybe it comes with the pressure and having accomplished so much already.

What is the worlds route please? I read it’s on a loop with a climb but with an extra loop for men’s with the cobbled climb?
So how many times do they go up that climb? Or have I read it wrong and they go up the cobbled ones every lap?

That has the profile of the whole route and the climbs.

Race will be in pieces with 130 km to go. All nations will try to antecipate Pogacar's move.
With the way they hit the circuit immediately without a long flattish buildup to it I expect fireworks from KM 0 with strong teams trying to place a credible rider in the early break of the day.

Any teams with 7+ riders like Denmark, France and Belgium should be proactive and put genuine options up the road early to exert maximal pressure on Slovenia as a team.

Yes but other minor favorites can't expect Slovenia to control the race alone. They aren't strong enough.

An outlier will win this race, it is set up for that, wait and see
I don't disagree to be honest. Pogacar is too much a favorite to win this with this comical team.
Mohoric and Tratnik won't go and Roglic is never going to work 100% for Teddy. So Teddy only has Novak for the last 120 km.

I hope an African racer can win, but just feel like a random/ not well rated guy will do it
