Well yes, I was a much bigger Valverde-fan, but Pog animates every race he enters and makes it better. Valverde didn't necessarily do that and can be compared more to Roglic in that sense.

It's honestly a little funny how circumstances have aligned to make Pogacar, the last bastion still standing against the all conquering might of Jumbo. A guy who might otherwise be despised for being so dominant is instead seen as the only one stopping the complete dominance of another team.
Not that it's actually as black and white as this, but the narratives are certainly working in Pogacars favor.

Strong ride by Teddy today but he was beaten by a very in-form Rogla. Still, he was stronger than one year ago and way stronger that 2 years back. He'll be ready for Lombardy.
