He came backRemember when some were “joking” that the Giro shouldn’t be handed to Pogacar and Thomas could win it.
Absolutely humiliated everyone in every race bar one and that could have went his way if MVDP wasn’t there. A huge bounce back and statement win from the last two years. Fired back that he can’t do it in the heat, altitude, or multiple climbs. This season could be one of if not the best ever.
You're humiliated? Maybe don't vest too much in your fandom and it won't hurt that much. No one here would criticize you for being disappointed.I will not appreciate if Pog also win the Olympics and the World Championship. Prior to Isola 2000 it was a battle. Now it's humiliation. Don't like it at all.
Wait someone actually said that?Thats to funny not to laugh aboutRemember when some were “joking” that the Giro shouldn’t be handed to Pogacar and Thomas could win it.
Wouldn't you agree he's established that legacy? Seems unlikely someone will exceed what he's done very soon unless they convince him to get off the bike. The only question is how long he can keep this up. This will mainly determine his legacy.
You truth tellers are so boring....I dont lie its just facts. I never said Vingegaard isnt a great rider you dont win two tdf if ur not but still what I said is also true and based simply on facts which we know. So when you sum it up its hardly surprising to most all im saying.
Vingegaard never ridden better thats just the base of it. I agree that this week his prep is hindering him a little which is only natural and that he can be better than this in 3 week properly. You truth tellers are so boring....
But didn't Pogacar claim to have best training numbers in 2023 before the tour as well? Weren't his numbers on some of the stages amazing? In 23, Cautarets?
Facts facts, Vingegaard comes from an injury, like with Pogacar in 23 we simply don't know how he would have performed without it. Doesn't take anything away from Pogacar.
isnt he still by far the best paid cyclist. But agree after watching this year which is the surely will end up beeing the best season of all time? in this era its just outwordly. Greatest of all time so wouldnt surprise me if he got a big pump either, deservedly wheny our the best of all time and now also the best climber of all time...dont know what more to say about this guy other than pure history. This guy will get one of the biggest salary increase of all time
You really can turn a phrase can you. Anywho I really wanted Pog to get the double and to beat Vingo but I never saw this coming…You're humiliated? Maybe don't vest too much in your fandom and it won't hurt that much. No one here would criticize you for being disappointed.
Even if Visma is saying this Vingo is doing his best numbers ever, I am not sure I totally buy into it. There is psychology in wanting opponents to believe Vingo can't hang next year with pogi.Yeah no dude, don't overdo it. He won the Tour twice. You don't do this by chance. Next year he'll be closer to Tadeij. There's no reason to act like Vingegaard is not a top rider.
They have already begun to sandbag for next year.Even if Visma is saying this Vingo is doing his best numbers ever, I am not sure I totally buy into it. There is psychology in wanting opponents to believe Vingo can't hang next year with pogi.
I wish I had his resumeThis guy will get one of the biggest salary increase of all time
No doubt Visma and Vingegaard, Wout, Sepp and others revelled in last year's dominance and the adoration of fans. I don't wish riders any ill will (except Lusenko shedding tears when he had to quit but no remorse for taking out Primoz) but they kept talking. Jonas was used to try to break any UAE affiliation with Remco but with Roglic out of the picture it became a simple game of a stronger team wiping out support stage after stage.Visma saying Vingo is doing his best numbers, only thought would be down 2 minutes etc...was just to bait the previous Pogi into attacking too soon for later stage...a repeat of the success of their plan for last 2 years. This year it didn't work...Pogi is better, not injured, smarter, better trained....the plan failed. Not here for second lol (but glued to Remco wheel all day to protect second). They got outclassed. Love to see it. And also will like to see Pogi win with more of a gap than the gap he lost last year. Nice to see the tables turn. Ok Vingo almost died (ok lets go with that fable for the masses) but next year if neither are injured will see a repeat of this year. I like Jonas but not Visma. Glad to see Pogi deny them stage win today and hope he does it through Sunday. They would do it to him if they could as they did already
I have directed our collect self to the location where they (we?) can pick a new name.Wow, how meta. The forum posting in itself.
Mind blown.
