Yep. By comparison, in 2011 10th place in Paris was +10'43". As of today with 4 stages to go 10th is +18' and 4th is Pogi's teammate at nearly 13 minutes. Strong riding by Almeida by the way. UAE have definitely turned the tabes on Visma.
This was normal before the last couple of years. In the 1980s-Indurain the gaps were enormous. Usually there was 1 or 2 contenders within 5 minutes by this point in the race and then enormous gaps from 4th on down.

What is going on? This guy is an internet celebrity now? LOL

Mou is definitely a Croat. He said he was from Balkans here and on X he speaks in a way only native Croats would. There's a lot of slang involved which confirms that and it's almost impossible to fake it. If he is faking it, he's very very good.

Now the question is: How many "mysterious insiders" from Croatia can UAE have? If he really is a mole, it will be very easy to identify him... What will happen in my opinion is it will turn out that he is a charlatan, just as his friend the bald fraud...
its not that easy, he can get info from second hand

Mou becoming a minor internet celebrity is absolutely hilarious. This is probably the most attention this forum has gotten since I've been around. If I wasn't about to go to bed I'd strongly consider making a Mou thread since we've reached a point where there is a completely seperate discussion about how the world is catching onto him. So if someone else wants to I'd appreciate it. Maybe this is all a very stupid topic but it's honestly the funniest thing that has happened to this forum in a while.

Are you implying they caused Vinges/WvA crash, Sepps covid and so on? Because otherwise I would say it's pretty much just that Visma is decimated by unfortunate events this year. Of course it might not have been enough either way with the form Pog is showing but it would likely be closer and most certainly in terms of team support.

To be fair it was Visma saying this. Froome, as a Vingo fan, is just repeating the arrogant disrespectful nonsense we have heard from Richard Plugge since 2022. The race highlights on stage 15 picked this up on the radio comms to Vingegaard before he attacked on PdB. I am happy to see that team eating some humble pie as of today. I just hope we don't get a nasty surprise on stage 19.
I missed the radio part, what did they say ?

He actually detailed though exactly what had been worked on. Locations. Numbers.

Most of it has checked out and Pog even admitted that.
What Pog actually said is just the opposite. That most of it is wrong.

This is his quote:
"I have heard in recent days that he has received a lot of attention. He is right about some of it, but most of it is wrong, Tadej Pogacar pointed out."

you think he would admit numbers are correct
But his numbers aren't correct, the greatest irony of his claims are that he severely underestimated the level Pogacar (and Vingegaard) would be at. The performance is why everyone has been scrambling around to try and find a non-nefarious explanation, and what led people outside the forum to this thread to search for one;

currently Pogacar on a 20 min hill has 6.7 w/kg after 4 hours of driving of 5w/kg and the plan is for the Giro to have 6.9w/kg and for the tour 7.0w/kg,

Pog is ready to be at 7 w/kg for 20 min if necessary after 4 hours of a fast-paced race, I’ll just say that from 2024 onwards no one will leave him on the hill

If Pogacar was at the level Mou described, he would've lost several minutes.

What I recall most of Mou is that he said we will see the best ever Pogacar. So far it seems a reasonable prediction. But as of today, if I was a betting man, I’d put more money on Pogacar than Vingegaard for stages 19, 20 and 21. No signs of Giro fatigue. I also think what what said about the new coach has merit.
I also think Vingegaard, in the conventional sense, looked completely done after today's stage, but this tour seems to be forcing long-time fans to realign their expectations, so *** knows what could happen on 19.

Only thing matter about mou , he said Pogi will destroy everybody and that was true , the rest doesnt matter at all
[[content deleted]] The rest of us fans also want to know when we are being fed ***.

Let me put it like this: You can either say Pog will destroy Vinge or you can say Vinge is going to destroy Pog. There is a certain chance you are going to be right which doesn't prove anything in any way you knew it as there's a high chance you just guessed it.
