kinda sucks aswell he wont do the vuelta even though ive always said it make the most sense from coming years apective but I mean he would win it hes the least tired from them all and yeah im sure he would but im just not sure how he would react after it, might be to much and theres all the reason not to do it.

The tripple crown would be awesome. If he could add a WC title would be just brilliant so no small feat. Lets see exciting times for sure.

26 years since the last Giro Tour double.

Not quite:
If I have my calculations correct, Pogacar will have 4973 CQ points when it is updated overnight.

He took 1632 points during the Tour: someone with that over a whole season would have come 12th last year.
4273 points for this calendar year from 21 wins out of 52 race days. A 40% win rate which is unfathomably high and he has only competed in world tour races this year so no points farming in tiny races.

I watched the rest of the stage for the coverage being a minute faster almost on ARD, I don't recall that. But before Carsten Migels has said on ES noumerous times during this Tour that given cyclings history, questions are allways fair game, but if you accuse someone openly of doping, you need to put that on a basis.

Where is 'here' though. The forum, where you live?
I heard that it was on ARD. What they said in the Danish broadcast, was the same as the statement you are referring to, but they very rarely talk about doping issues - they did it here because they were making various conclusions on the final day of the Tour, as many other broadcasters probably have done.

Tadej got the question and gave a great answer:

"There will always be doubts, cycling was a sport that had a very troubled past, before my time. There will always be people, whatever the sport, who are jealous of you, who hate you. If there aren't any, you probably haven't achieved your goals. WADA and the UCI have invested a lot of money to make this sport clean, and I believe it is one of the cleanest in the world. Now it's not worth taking something that could have an impact on your health, your heart, to go faster until age 35. After 35 years, there is still a lot to live and do. That would be stupid. Cycling is a game, it's fun, it's amusing, we want to win, but that's not the most important thing. Pushing his body even further would be stupid."

You changed the discussion to triple crown and then tripled down on it
Yes, and no. Initially I thought the discussion was winning all three GTs in a succession (we all know that no one has done it in a calendar year). You said something about it not being done since the '80s and I replied that Froom did it a few years back, but then 'triple crown' got put in and I ran with that still thinking about winning all three GTs. My bad for not reading carefully, while doing too many things at once.

Well really this all started with the idea of TP winning all three GTs in this calendar year.

Will he ride at the Olympics?

He's on the starlist, the race is in less than 2 weeks so I guess form should not be the issue.
With the field being ridiculously small, the largest teams getting 4 riders, which thins out dramatically, it's gonna be wild I guess, given the race is 275km long! I think there's just gonna be a super group that goes really early, and from that he should have a decent shot at getting rid of them, even though there's only a 1k not so steep cobbled hill to go on. But that comes after 227k and overall 3 times in the last 50. It's not exactly a dream parcour for him, but he might just sail away alone or with Remco and VdP never to be seen again because no one got any domestiques to pull anyways.

In a warning to the current champion, Pogacar said: “[Mathieu] van der Poel looks really good in the world champion’s jersey but I want to take it from him. I want one time to have the rainbow jersey on my back but I still have time for that."

After saying that he should just look for MvP's wheel and stick with it.
