I don't even know if we will have a fight between Remco and Pogi. Pogi is clearly on another level and can't really see Remco being able to follow Pogi's explosiveness.

He shouldnt. I think yesterday staged summoned up who he is as a character when people ask why he sprint when it make no sense etc..
There was absolutely no reason for him to push or go fast especially on the downhill yet he crushed everyone on every intermediate and downhill and like Sean Kelly said everytime he steps on a bike he just wanne race that downhill was very telling as there was no incentive besides his instincts at all and the way he approach every race and situation even though theres no incentive to do so. Could even argue the other way around.
That he is this way is pure beaty nevermind him beeing the strongest in history alone ofcourse it helps aswell haha.

In a few years we all gonne talk about Pogacar 24 version as a mytical figure but the funny part one year in with the new coach and only age 25 already most believe he can even get better thats just crazy but likely.

No but serious doubt he can win vs Mvdp in OL but come WC on that route its very likely I see only peak Mvdp and Evenpoel challenge him there and should be betwen those 3. Evenpoel might be the hardest nail there if he continue to take strides aswell which is very likely, the toure looks very hard.

Jokes aside, Zurich WC is a big goal for Pogacar. The climbs there are actually larger than bridges this time: bronze last year was good but gold would be much better. He will target it, maybe even at the cost of the Olympics? (shouldn't he recover a bit now?)

So obviously no Vuelta, but we can patiently wait if after the Giro Tour double he will be 3rd male rider in history to achieve triple crown. Apparently this is his next goal this season by the way he immediately turned to WC in an interview

He's on the starlist and it's on August 3rd, so it should not be that big of a deal to conserve form untill than, should it?
It's a pretty long race, and given how insanely small the field is I think he has a greater chance on the parcour than he'd have with an actual field that could chase someone down. Sadly I can't watch it because I star a roadtrip that exact day, but I half expect Remco, Pogacar, VdP + x to sail away relatively early and than battle it out amonst each other. Because who's gonna chase them down with next to no team.

I hope he doesnt ride the OL for some reasons. Rather want him 100% locked for WC, I wanne see how UAE would cook that jersey (if teams even get any freedom at all or solely based on UCI).

Once again Domen Novak emphasizes that the most important change for 2024 Pogacar was the change of coach. Literally all of the UAE squad knows that San Millan's program was hindering Pog's potential but nobody's going to criticize the bald fraud openly. But we all know the truth.

Wasn't Pogacar's TT NC jersey just as crap as his RR NC one?
Of course, I'm not sure he's ever had to wear it in a race.
As for riders like McNulty and Wellens getting decent kits; I think that's more to do with the national federations ensuring it, than UAE suddenly learning to make proper kits.
