nopeTriple crown is Giro+Tour+Worlds in same calendar year
Triple crown is all three GTs in succession.
EDIT: just think about it, how silly would it that the triple crown would be 2 GTs and a one day race?

Triple crown is Giro, Tour, Worlds same year. That's what the triple crown is: all three GTs in succession (Just like Ed and Bernie). No one has ever won all three in the same year.
As everyone else has said... It's the two GTs and the WC. The reason being that until relatively recently the Giro and vuelta used to overlap so couldn't both be done in the same year.nope

I confused myself because were were talking about winning all three GTs (EM, BH, CF) and then it strayed of to triple crown.Triple crown is Giro, Tour, Worlds same year.

You would take away from his achievement by saying it was easy. I think it was hard work, aided by change of trainer. And I think getting spanked by Vingegaard two years in a row added additional fire.Crazy, successful year for Pogacar. Dominated every race he entered bar MSR and that could have been a win as well if MVDP wasn’t there. Detractors said after each domination it wouldn’t happen again at the next race but he provided them and everyone else wrong since no one excepted this level. Not only came back to win the Tour but did so in dominate fashion on the back of dominating the Giro. People said it wouldn’t be easy, but turns out it is if you’re Tadej Pogacar.
Yes, I already typed that above. In the '80s the Vuelta was in the spring so a thrupple wasn't possible. If you mean a tripple crown,
The hard work wasn’t easy to get himself here but that’s why you train harder, to make race day easier. You would take away from his achievement by saying it was easy. Of course, I thought you meant getting to that level was easy. The hard work wasn’t easy to get himself here but that’s why you train harder, to make race day easier.
I really don't think so, he's still slower than Ganna/Tarling/Remco on those TTs. 30s isn't an insignificant margin. It's insane how he has improved in TT though.
With the latest spec TT bike and a bit more effort, he could have won the second time trial at the Giro against Ganna as well.
Scary as ***.
Oh no, I meant when there was some on here that said it was too easy but at the next race it’ll be harder.l because the others will be stronger. Pogacar made every race look easy bar MSR on his way to dominating them.Of course, I thought you meant getting to that level was easy.
He now has as many pro wins as his skijumping compatriot.

You changed the discussion to triple crown and then tripled down on itYes, I already typed that above.
We were discussing winning all three GTs in succession (I thought) and then when it flipped to triple crown, I didn't make the change in my mind.
He will always be in R. shadow in Slovenia. Younger Instagram generation of quick wins and hero cartoonish performances likes Pog more but they will turn their back on him quickly when wins and records won't be there any more. Many are already now waiting for some kind of doping proof anyway. Finally coming out of Rogla's shadow!
Only if they change the points system to make all stage finishes the same points instead of artificially inflating the sprinters chances.I think they swapped it. It's probably the only jersey he will never win... Probably... Well...
The triple crown has always been the Giro, The TDF, and the World Championships. That's what the triple crown is: all three GTs in succession (Just like Ed and Bernie). No one has ever won all three in the same year.
Not very. Its only recently the Giro & Vuelta haven't both been held in May.nope
