The historic show Pogacar put up while also donig the historic Giro-Tour double is unrivaled of anything weve seen in modern cycling, unmatched.

Still perplexed in some way of the fashion he pulled it off, mindboggling how strong he is now.
Yes it really is. He truly is one of a kind.

Hamburg, EC are important races (at least worldtour). And he could grab some races like wallonie or those small italian classics. He loves Italy. I only see money as the main reason.
I don't know if EC is really that important?

Hamburg is nice and all, but Montreal is better suited to Pogi. I am sure he can win Hamburg if the stars align, but same goes with Quebec.

And The better competition is probably in Canada, he'll probably be able to beat bigger names with more tv viewers earning better points.

He isn't the type of rider who settles for beating the second best he can find.

Neither are Canadian classics and there is always the jet lag.

Yeah there’s always an excuse. Wollongong Pogacar wasn’t peaking apparently, but a few weeks later wins Lombardia
In Wollongong there was no chase between them. One of them got into the breakaway and the other stayed with the group. However, Pogi was not seen at 100% in the last climbs up the hill.

Well, quite obvious now already that Pogacar wouldn't have taken anything from anyone at the Vuelta.

Are they going to back Del Toro now or give up on GC?

E: although COVID for Almeida is bad luck

One thing they won't say is how Remco benefited from having WVA in his team. He gets a free role when WVA marks the main rivals. I want to see in Lombardia or Liege, if Remco can beat Pogacar.
