I can use the same argument. We all know which people don't want Le Manie back and why. I already said I would like the Muur back even if Pogacar had more troubles to win the race. You don't like Le Manie because you don't like Pogacar but I'm pretty sure if he wasn't racing, you didn't bother at all.
I am Pogi fan but i wouldn't like Maine back. If Pogi somehow wins with Maine in the race (even though as you said doesn't make much difference) everybody would say, they made it easy for him. It would not be true at all and it would be even more presure for Tadej.

But if Pogacar wasn't racing, no one would complain with Manie's addition. Manie is part of MSR's history. If RVV removed Kwaremont (for the next 10 years), we couldn't complain because it was favouring Pogacar.
The people who will complain about Manie's addition are probably the same people 10 years ago were complaining about removing Manie. And for what I read here from Redrick, I almost put my hands on fire that Redrick was one of the people complaining.

I can only find a little bit where he thinks the race isn’t hard enough without la Manie or other climbs as options. Otherwise seems mostly dispassionate about the matter

It looks like you are the only complaining, since you were the only one talking about Manie.

Nobody talked about Manie in the media or anywhere, because nobody cares about that. MSR is fine how it is at the moment, and it works very well.

A year ago this thread discussion was mainly centered on the tdf like how can pog beat jonas, jonas is a grand tour goat.. and here we are a year later everybody is talking about msr which was the only competitive race day for pog in 2024. even ving fans are now talking about sanremo 🤣

So MSR only exists since 1990? MSR is not just Cipressa-Poggio combo and Manie is part of MSR. You talk like if they add Manie, Pogacar will just win with a 100 km solo...

Manie is not going to cause a Pog solo

what could is if Pomieana would be added between Cipressa and Poggio, though that may favor Remco a bit more as that course would be more LBL not GDL

Starting to settle into his new 'do'!

Those shoes don't exactly say $8m per year, but it'll work chief. Think I would have went with a different shirt color too. He needs a professional stylist.

They both look lovely, one thing i could suggest is they could wear something matching, considering they are a couple. In the end they booth went with their own style and that is OK too. Usually there is a reason behind such things anyway. For example Pogi got a haircut from a 15 year old kid riding for Pogi team, such story always tops professional stylists in my book. Still, nothing wrong with professional look either, Rogla and Pogi in matching suits with bow ties, that was priceless too. The main problem here likely was Urška looked at Pogi shoes and said no way am i doing that, Pogi on the other hand can afford it.

I wanne hear more about your fashion sense Abi, im intriged.

Me for my part dont mind, no matter what i dress i still rock it. Im alpha like that just like Pog is alpha in another way within cycling and vs his competitors. True greatness and all that you know.

Come to think about it we could almost say were the same, my gf called me the greatest here the other day, so we got that in common too.

Hope the UAE classics team will be prepared for MSR next year. I'm not convinced a tour against a fully fit and injury free Vinge will in any way be easy but MSR does seem like his biggest obstacle (racing wise) from a potentially "perfect" 2025.

Races to win:
MSR
RVV
Ardennes treble (?)
TDF
Vuelta
WC
Lombardia

Tell me you're Eastern European without telling me...as the kids say...

Seriously, why not a well-cut charcoal or dark blue suit with a custom-tailored white shirt and some drip for the wrist? Works every time.

Not sure about Urska's shirt-dress either but I'll leave that to the distaff fans.
