Peloton in shambles right now. I already told one time, MVP will probably risk to have his worst road season ever. If he doesn't win in spring, there aren't many important races where he can save his season

Rumors from his Slovenian camp are that if he wins the MSR, he will also go to the PR this year.

I hope he goes no matter what. I don't think he will win MSR, specially because MVP will be there trying to not let him escape.

As I said before, Mathieu is so much better than everybody else at the cobbled classics that he shouldn't be afraid of Pog - especially not at PR where he would still be the favourite.

Tadej's participation in Paris-Roubaix (if he finishes without injury) would mean more to me, as his loyal fan, than winning Strade, Amstel, and Fleche Wallonne combined.

no the full bike is approximately 700g heavier than the fully tricked out v4rs pog uses at the tour, is should be 7.5-7.6 kg (there are different articles about it on italian media, plus on a yt video from colnago almeida tells that his aero bike weighs 7.6kg). This compares with 6.8-6.9kg (very close to uci limit) for the v4rs. Apart from the weigth the real problem of the new bike is that it forces a really strange position, look at pogi on jabel hafeet and compare it to its pedal stroke and fluidity he had in mountain finishes in catalunya at the beginning of 2024. With the new bike there is something wrong, his pedal stroke is more power focused and he has a lower cadence plus a strange (and it seems also uncomfortable) position. I believe that he will use this bike in sanremo but I really hope that's gonna be the only important race in which he uses it

His crew can set up the new bike with the exact same measurements as the previous bike.

And what does this statement tell u? I presume his 1st peak level of the year will be san remo and maybe his best ever level 😝 dont expect him to go msr with last years catalonia shape. Vdp should be ready to do cipressa in around 8:30 if he is to have a chance of winning msr

Nah, his best level will be shown in Kwaremont. Of course he will be in great shape in MSR but he is peaking to take down MVP again.
I just hope for no crashes, classics are very chaotic races and something bad can happen.

If u were his fan u would know pog better than this. He always wants challenges and he doesn't want to be beaten in any race. So far his undoing came in msr so he wants to show the world he can beat vdp in msr but kwaremont is a walk in the park for him he knows no one can follow him even in his uae tour shape.

Don't be silly, MVP is not an easy opponent. I still think Pogi will drop him but it won't be easy

Flandres should be epic but Pogi is still #1 favourite. MSR is his biggest challenge (and PR if he takes part).

His team is by far the best he ever had in the classics. It will be the fastest RVV ever, I don't have any doubt.

Maybe you are not reading correctly but he said he will decide after MSR. It is obvious it was not on his program to race PR but he changed his mind after doing the recon (Pogacar's own words). And it has been like this for years (for example not racing the Vuelta in 2022 and 2023 when it was on his program).

Yes, so what? Cycling outside racing is really boring, no drama, nothing. The most interesting thing since oktober is Pogacar schedule. Him doing PR/Vuelta is really important for all other riders so why make it easy for them.

Nobody is adapting their schedule to whether Pogacar races Roubaix or not lol.

Giro was known well before the official announcement because the RCS dangles the starting money to target riders way in advance

Incredible if manages that in his first attempt, but just a good result would motivate him to try again. That it would be possible.

He has taken every defeat in big races with grace and just come right back each time even more motivated.
